Five Below — Local services in Roanoke

I love this store and I could spend hours inside looking at all the really intriguing variety of goodies they carry. I was in there a few days before Christmas, and yes, there were a lot of other people shopping, and I remember at one point getting in a line that stretched all the way to the back of the store. I thought no way was I going to wait as long as I assumed I would have to and was completely prepared to just leave the items I had gathered to purchase. However, I got distracted looking at more wonderful things and in no time at all I looked back at the line to see if there had been progress, and the line had completely dimished!!! They had every register open with smiling, friendly employees that handled the madness of that intimidating line like bosses!! I would have clapped, had my hands not been full of more of the awesome things I collected while waiting, so I am thoroughly impressed! I already DO recommend this place...

I just love 5 below but hey I mean it's kind of like a Walmart, you can find stuff cheap but actually cheaper here! If you prefer quality products that are going to stand the test of time I kinda wouldn't recommend buying anything electronic here, my BFF he purchased a cell phone holder that was supposed to clip on his car vent, what they don't say on the box is that it is not compatible with newer model (2023 2024) model vehicles. Aside from that I come here to buy fun lil nic nacs, cheap shirts and toys/games. They have a neat selection of journals and some beauty products I like and socks which I love Again .. I will say it's cheap for a reason, sometimes it's worth paying a little more for something if you can afford to But if not, Five Below should be your go to place, well before dollar tree imo and other cheap...

I mean, it was alright. Def not my best experience, however it was Christmas eve, so maybe a pass needs to be given that I'm incorporating in this review. That's for you to decide. The shelves were almost bare and it seemed as if the employees had abandoned any work they were doing on the floor. A cart was unmanned that had price stickers on it, etc., unopened boxes with merchandise in them were laying on tbe floor. The place had 1 checkout lane open for a significant amount of time until they finally opened one more. The cashier's were rude AF and obviously don't do well with the public. It was Christmas eve, but the one lady was an absolute b-word. I think she was the manager. I went to Dollar Tree later and found the exact items I just paid $5 for, listed for $1.25. Smh. I...
