This is the second time I’ve been stopped and told that I was stealing 2 energy drinks! I go every day and have my 2 kids and family member with me! I would never do that when I spend money every single day with this place! Just because they said they seen me pick it up when I entered the store but didn’t go to check out with it which is because the first time I put the items down in seasonal (which the fat guy that ride on the scooter found after I left) then after that he followed me and my kids every time I came in there from the time I entered until I left even watched me check out and spend money everyday and even pull a bunch of money from the atm at times. The second time he had went and whispered to another worker and then when I got to check out she tried to stop me. The second time was over the same thing but when I told them I sat them in the back of the store and offered 2 times to take them to the items they wouldn’t let me then told me that I was banned and everything. I ran and put my kids in the car with the family member and ran back inside to handle business and show my bags and yet again offered to take them to the items that I sat down in the back of the store that they wouldn’t let me take them to and yet again I was called names and told no. Me and my 1 and 2 year old have been harassed every single time by the fat guy that doesn’t even really work there for months now. Just because I pick something up doesn’t mean that I stole it people sit stuff down at the wrong spots all the time and not only that my kids throw things out and half of the time I don’t notice that I don’t even have them anymore until after I get home and look for it only to realize that they must have thrown them out while walking through the store! This place is absolutely disgusting and ridiculous. I’m not the only person that this has happened to just of how I look or dress either. There are 2 others that it happens to as well. I’ve seen the same thing happen to these people who I didn’t and don’t know and after the big blow out they proved the people wrong and never came back because they were judged by how they look when in reality they had...
Read moreHorrible experience AGAIN at Kroger on Rutgers! Out of several kind of organic vegetables so I asked for some to be restocked. When the worker brought one vegetable out I had to decline it because it was already going bad. He told me a second worker was looking for the other sale item vegetable I was seeking that wasnt out and would get back with me. The worker never did. I moved on. Got to the pizza sauce aisle and thankfully a worker was nearby who could get a price check on 2 items on the shelf for which there was no pricing. Got to the paper towel aisle and no price. I had to go to checkout lane and ask worker to call someone. After waiting and waiting no one ever came. I again moved on next to the sugar aisle and the shelf was empty. After so many instances of poor store management I proceeded to give up and check out with what I did have. After expressed my disgust to the checkout person she informed me, without hesitation, that I wasn't the first to complain. Said things started going sour when the new manager came on board. I told her I'd spoken with him before since this wasn't the first time I'd had bad experiences here. She said he won't do anything. Said he won't even talk to or listen to employees. Well, I can say this for myself. I contacted corporate before and they didn't even respond to me so while it may certainly be the manager , it goes farther up the food chain that even him. I've been a Kroger customer for years but, guess what? They aren't the only game in town and I'm going to begin patronizing the others now. Yay, Aldi! I just visit and already found more fresh organic vegetables at equal or better prices than I did Kroger. Guess where I'll be shopping...
Read moreI have been going to the Kroger on Rutgers in Roanoke Virginia for about 10 years now have always been pleased and willing to give more than 5 stars because of the easy access and friendliness and cleanliness of the store but as of about a month ago they moved the whole store around all the merchandise from the shells in different spots making it hard to find things that was easier before to be able to run in and get what you needed now it takes an hour or more to find the things you need not only that since they started this clicklist program they do not offer the regular customers that are shopping the same benefits I used to be able to get great savings and coupons to be able to help me budget and Shop but not anymore the coupons have went to almost nothing and with them doing the clicklist the aisles are so congested with their carts feeling up for that you can't hardly be able to shop anyway so now it more difficult to find the things you need the pricing is not the same for someone like me that has to be on a budget being a single mom of two it is very disappointing that the changes that have been made now I find myself having to shop elsewhere to be able to stay within my budget and be able to get in and out faster also the deli is very hard to be able to get any service from I always buy a lot from the deli usually when I go but it seems like now no one wants to help you I hate to give a bad review because I have always loved Kroger and the friendly staff and let me also add that the staff is very friendly there just not so much in the deli wish they wouldn't have changed the store around but I guess they did it for their own convenience for the...
