If I go to McDonald’s and get two burgers and a fry it now suddenly costs me around $15 dollars and more for a drink at Cookout I can get a double burger any style I want, and out of a huge selection of options pick 2 sides and get a cheerwine or more soda choices than anywhere but Sonic for only $10.50 and it’s real grilled backyard tasting awesomeness not something that was heated up in a steamer. If you haven’t guessed I like cookout and go here all the time, get Cajun seasoning on your fries, plus the got everything in the world on their menu which as far as I can think of is the largest I have ever seen on 40 years they got chicken fingers and nuggets, all the way to quesadillas, hot dogs and corn dogs all the way to “walkin tacos” a personal favorite I like to get after late nights on the weekend - did I mention they are open till 3 am only place open that late I can think of besides Texas Tavern (if you ain’t been there go there the day after going to cook out or vice versa) - walkin tacos = bag of Doritos with beef, cheese, lettuce and sour cream all shoved into it and a fork = walkin tacos, anyways they make and have just about any sort of homestyle comfort/back yard grilling food you can think of if you want good food and fast and especially late at night and something that is a step above fast food garbage try this place...
Read moreI've never left a Google review before but this was too trashy to not share.
Went through the drive thru and ordered three meals, got charged for all of them, left. Realized they only gave us two meals, circled back, went inside. The guy behind the register immediately crossed his arms seeing me walk in the door with a bag of food. Like, I get it, I hate to see people come into my work looking the same way. I wasn't upset, I just pointed out that 'a lot of stuff is missing but the rest of the order is right' before the cashier could help- another dude came out from the back and shoved another bag in my hand. I said "oh, perfect, thank you!" And turned to leave. That's all we needed, it was an easy fix. But the dude in the back decided to talk shit saying "She said she was missing a lot of stuff but it was only like three things"- I immediately thought of saying "careful there big boy, we don't eat as much as you" but chose the other route of just telling him "it seemed like a lot to us" and then told them that it was rude of him to say that.
I have no clue why they were so on the offense with me, I get that things are busy and mistakes happen, doesn't mean I want anything other than for it to be made right but nah, they're straight up laughably lacking in the personality department. Bless them and their miserable...
Read moreThe food is very good and i enjoy having lots of options like they offer UPDATE: I just don't understand how they are able to keep that place running like a flawlessly executed, well-oiled machine like they do. They hardly mess up, and they are so fast with everything. They have figured out a secret formula and it's hard to comprehend what they actually have going on in the back or even any where in that place to generate such good results. I've only noticed 2 really small hiccups, and I've been looking for mistakes, anything to prove that humans are actually running the show and not little magic fairies that can see into the future and know what each person is going to order and when, which gives them a headstart on having everything already ready to go. The hiccups involved 2 shake's labels accidentally switched and they almost forgot a tea once, but i mentioned it and they rectified it, so that probably shouldn't count, but those are IT! I've ordered quite a bit from there! I'm both confused and impressed and i def recommend them 6000 times over. I just wish they would tell me how they are able to pull this off like they do and if the person that developed whatever system they use, has gotten a raise or recognition, or what? Great job to...
