Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Rochester

We ordered coffee and sandwiches from this Caribou Coffee on July 10, 2025 at 9:00am. Coffees and sandwiches were below average in taste and warmth. But what struck a cord was when a homeless person came in with no shoes and we could tell he was genuine. I approached three different Caribou Coffee associates and handed them a twenty dollar bill and asked them to give him $20 worth of food to take with him. They all ignored me and when I said multiple times to take the money and feed him, they all looked at me and turned around and walked away. I’m a retired firefighter and know when someone is down on their luck. But these employees took the cake by ignoring my Good Samaritan aid. Shame on them. Coffee and tea is good. I am here for Mayo Clinic. I normal go to Starbucks back home (they always get my order right and give me a straw with my hot beverage no problems) however this place made me feel like it is a big deal and they are doing me a favor giving me a straw. Which is my preference as a customer to use a straw with a hot drink which is not hard for the staff to accommodate. I have been visiting this cafe for past 1 year almost on a daily basis and I have noticed a deterioration in the quality of their brewed coffee. I used to love their Daybreak brewed coffee and in the past this Cafe used to brew it right (I wasn't able to replicate their nice strong taste at home). However, since last 2 months I have noticed that their drip coffee is way too watered down :( It doesn't taste strong and delicious like it once used to ....
