Yum! Poké — Restaurant in Rochester

Disappointing. The many five star reviews are likely from customers who've never had a poke bowl before.

Unfortunately for their 5 star streak, I've enjoyed poke all over the world, and this one fell short. With a custom poke bowl, for example, I've never previously been charged extra for any of the veggie toppings, like seaweed salad. What appeared to be grilled eel was "warmed" in the toaster oven, but still ice cold. The pickled ginger was dumped on the top where normally, it is served in small cups on the side.

I know, when you have Hawaiian food with a Japanese twist being served by a Chinese kitchen, it will go this way, but I had hoped for more.

Very clean restaurant every time I go in there for my lunch breaks. They do good with portions and the fish always taste fresh. I’m not sure why others are complaining about freshness cause it’s good all the time for me. They’re never pushy and they get your food done fast. I even bought a bowl for my husband and he’s obsessed. Definitely our closest one to get poke. Reminds me of when my husband and I went to Hawaii and had poke. I wish they would change up their signature dishes or have a signature poke of the day but I’m not gonna complain it’s good! Good place to have a bite if you work around downtown. I ordered a poke bowl earlier today; I normally order from Songtea but they’re closed on Tuesdays so I decided to try a new place which turned out to be a huge mistake. First off I ordered 2 extra avocado and was very disappointed with what I got. 2 tiny sliced of avocado for $1 a piece and it wasn’t even fresh! It was just mushy and already browning. The fish and quality overall was equally disappointing and sorry to say disgusting. The poor quality of the salmon was apparent just by looking at it and the taste was repulsing.
