The #1 Dairy Queen in Rochester has been a “staple” here for years…cars line up into the street waiting to get to the drive thru for one of best “Original” sandwiches and signature DQ treats like sundaes, shakes, dilly and buster bars… The sandwiches are why I go, they are basically a “maid-rite” which is ground beef, onions, and whatever other condiments you wish to add…This year, I’m sorry to say they lose a star(4 out of 5) because although the price is the same as last year, DQ chooses to join the “trend” that most retail businesses seem to be following: Keep the price LOW, but give the customer LESS…That’s right, your getting more air and less chips in that bag of Lay’s, and ounces are dropping on your popular packaging, that your not suppose to notice, just to keep prices low…well, the DQ original sandwich is still very good, and comes highly recommended, be aware, (but not surprised) to see how small they’ve become…Myself, I would rather pay more and GET more, if you get my meaning! That said, BY FAR the best DQ in Rochester!! P.S. try a “cherry misty”

We stopped by this DQ location around 9 PM on May 1. The experience was decent overall. I asked for the flavor of the month because I didn’t enjoy April’s confetti cake, but the cashier still recommended that same flavor, which was a bit disappointing since I was hoping for something new. My husband asked for the cashier’s favorite and ended up with a mint M&M Blizzard, which we both enjoyed. I ordered my usual go-to: a chocolate sundae with chocolate ice cream and peanuts on top. It was just as good as I remembered. This DQ is my go-to for ice cream, even if the service could be more attentive.

This is the best DQ ever, always consistently awesome, they always hook you up with extra, line can be long, but it’s because they are the best one!! You’ll often see the manager working who owns this place, the guy who looks like Rick from the walking dead, he runs pretty much the best Dairy Queen I have ever been too. The quality is always consistent, if this place ever were to close I would probably cry.

Great to have a dairy queen drive up window. It is not always the best to get out and go in with kids, or do the walk up to the window. It is a tiny drive up line, but they did the best with the space they had. Great service and food. Although we didn't end up loving the blizzard of the month we ordered, it was no fault of Dairy Queen ..... it was just our personal preference. So we won't order that one again. But the DQ was great. Keep up the good work. Great job with the Yong kids working their. They were learning we could tell but they did a great job during a very busy...
