Wow! Is about all I can say about our dining experience the late eve of March 12, 2017. My wife and I were travelling through and decided to spend the night in the area. We had not been to an Applebee's before and decided to try it out. Big Mistake! We were seated promptly but after that everything went downhill. The waitress took our drink order of 2 ice waters to start, gave us a little time to view the menu. There was a table with a small child seated in the corner close to us. The waitress kept going over to butter up the customers by chatting it up as I think she screwed up their order. She finally came and took our order. We ordered the 2 for $20 entre special with an appetizer included. It was not busy and seemed like forever before our order arrived. I got the all american cheeseburger or whatever it was. It was brought to the table with nothing.....no mustard, no pickles, no lettuce, nothing! Just cheese, the burger and bun with some kind of sauce on it. I wasn't asked if I wanted or needed any toppings on it. When I asked, I was told she would check and see if there was a charge for anything other than what I got, I said forget it then and proceeded to eat it the way it was. As we dined, for approximately 1/2 hour, our waitress visited the corner table with the child about 4-5 times getting drinks, additional food items (due to order screw up), and actually holding and playing with the child. During this time we were never asked if we needed anything...refills on our water or how everything was.....Nothing!!. About the time we were done she was still finishing up with the other table. She walked by us again several times without asking if we needed anything. She dissappeared into the back after the other table had paid and was gone for about 30min or so without return. Finally my wife and I decided enough was enough. We walked up to the take out counter and told them we didnt know what was going on and our waitress had not returned to the table with our bill. We were only then informed that the little electronic contraption on our table was the way we were supposed to pay. This was our first time in the restuarant and had no clue this was how we were supposed to pay. Needless to say maybe a little more training is needed on behalf of the owner ensuring their staff intruct customers of how they are supposed to settle their bills. Read moreDear Apple-bee's Manager, I came into your restaurant 8/8/2015 at 5:45 pm. We had a party of 10 and around 4:30 I called informing your staff that we would be there at 5:45 pm and the lady I spoke with said that we could just come in and that there was no need for us to put our name down. We came in at 5:45 pm and we were told that it would only be about 10-20 minute wait. About 40-45 minutes later we were seated and our waitress was very flustered and not a blessing to serve us. We ordered and there were quite a few things wrong with our meals. Had we not have been there for a birthday party I would have talked to your manager right away.Issues were... 1) the Salmon was hard and dry 2) The 4 cheese Mack n' cheese with the Asian BBQ sauce was messed up the bacon and the BBQ sauce were missing... had to ask for the rest of ingredients. 3) The wings we ordered were swimming in sauce and one person in our party asked for sauce on the side and received his wings dripping in sauce. 4) The Fiesta lime chicken was hard and dry. 4) The burger we ordered was burnt and hard 5) The shrimp I ordered were dark brown, way over cooked and pretty tough. 6) One of our Wings meals did not come with the side we had ordered and we had to wait and re-ask for it. For SIX of the ten meals we bought having something wrong with them is not good. Your kitchen needs to step it up!!! We will no longer go to Apple-bee's. Part two of this review coming next.... We always go to you guys for birthdays in our family and we will no longer be returning to your establishment. To top it off with upon receiving one of our wing meals a wing had a bite mark with teeth marks and the waitress asked us to put it on a plate and then preceded to tell us it was a recurring trend and went into the back to yell at the cooks. She did not replace the meal... just left and didn't come back for a while. What the hell!! That is GROSS!!!!!!! If I were you I would be embarrassed about this!! Who in the hell would not replace a meal where someone ate something and then served it to guests. Unacceptable!!!! Also I called at 4:36 pm on Sunday 8/9/2015 and asked for the manager and the lady said one was interviewing someone and the other was doing inventory and asked if I was willing to wait for a little bit I said "yes" and about 2 minutes later she told me he could not be bothered and asked if I wanted to leave a message. Read moreHonestly, how is this location still open? No hostess when we walk in... restaurant isn't busy either. Finally we flag down a staff member to seat us. On our way to our seat I notice it is a little dirty but at this point I don't think much of it. We arrive at the table and there was a free dried up French fry in my seat along with napkins and trash on the ground. My friends and I finally make a comment about how dirty the place was but decide to laugh it off as we are all really hungry. Waitress comes and grabs our drink order all seems normal. I open the menu and realize I can't read a thing as we were seated at the only table in our section that had a burned out light. Mind you there was only one other guest in the entire section so plenty of places to choose from. Again no big deal we laugh it off and decide to ask the Waitress to move tables when she brings our drinks to us. 15 minutes pass no sign of the waitress... still no drinks. We decide to take matters in our own hands since we obviously were forgotten and move one table over. Light! No longer were we in a dungeon! Finally the waitress shows back up... annnd forgot one of my friends drinks. Flash forward ordered food, received food, and ate food. Saw the waitress maybe once after she brought the drink she forgott... at this point my friends and I are over the poor service and all we want is to be able to pay and leave. That is when we run into another problem the table side check out machine isn't working. We then try and find our waitress so we could get some help and pay. After another 10 minutes (no joke) we give up and get the bartender to help us. The bartender grabs some sort of supervisor or manager to ring us up. I'm thinking good finally we can get out of here... nope. I try and tell the supervisor about our visit but he wasnt having any of it. Not acknowledging anything I said he runs my card hands me a receipt to sign then disappears before I can even give it back. Standing there for another minute or two wondering where I can shove... I mean leave said receipt I decide to leave it on an empty wait station. Super frustrated my friends and I head for the door... to only end up wading through more trash on the ground.
