Schwietert's Cones & Candy — Restaurant in Rockaway Beach

Got 2 of the 3.50$ each truffles here. Partner got peanut butter and he says it tasted like coffee. I got the black and white one, and the closest comparison I can make is to cheap mass produced holiday chocolate like an off brand Cadbury egg. It just tastes yucky and like preservatives or something. The filling is goopy and weird. Very disappointed that we decided to get a couple truffles here instead getting more from the place next door, that we got a couple of really good, seemingly house-made truffles from for only 50 cents more per truffle.

Only 2 stars and not just one because the attendant working was helpful and nice. He wasn't wearing a mask, but almost no one in this town was. Mask wearing was much better in Manzanita about 15...

Best customer service EVER! Not sure what the guys name was up front who rang us up.He was very helpful and friendly. From having the worst experience at Sea Breeze to running out their store and in Schweitzer’s was a pleasant night to say experience. My so even got a free hot wheels car at the gift shop that’s attached! Ann was such a delightful human being to work with. She even gave my son a car wash for all of his hot wheels that he purchased. Only went in here because our go to spot for ice cream was closed. I will walk to the market for ice cream next time. Taffy has been sitting a wile and hard. Chocolates are very ordinary. Service was short and not prepared, or organized. $4.50 for one scoop of ice cream Is a bit steep when it looks like a kids cone. They were out of several flavors and had no one making waffle cones/bowls at all so...out of those as well (even though they had 4 people behind the counter). Sign and store need a little...
