Not really sure what happened. I have eaten here about 3-5 times a week for over a year, as it is nearby my work. I always recommended it, always good food, always on time. One Sunday night I called and had some strange conversations with what i assume to be the manager and another employee
I told him my order, nothing I have not ordered dozens of times the last year. He handed the phone to another employee, and I had to repeat my order. Kind of weird, but OK. I place my order. He tells me what I ordered is not on the menu (which it is) and I said well OK, gave him the benefit of the doubt. and so I ordered something else. I tried to order tacos and he told me 'we have three different kind of tacos we dont just have tacos i need to know what kind of tacos you want' which is really strange because I am NEVER asked this when I eat there for lunch.
I asked him what are my options. He actually paused, laughed out loud, and told me I need to learn their menu and call back. I told him I eat there many times a week and I am quite familiar with the menu, and I have never been asked that.
So yeah kind of a weird situation. Not sure if they all get drunk Sunday night or what. I am not one for complaining, writing reviews, or anything like that. I never do stuff like this but that night really upset me. It was just very strange behavior and poor customer service. Lost my business, and as I said I used to eat here at least three...
Read moreThis is the third horrible experience I had at this restaurant. I placed an order over the phone for a quesadilla which usually comes with bacon, and chicken or beef. I told the person on the phone I didn’t want any meat, instead I wanted refried beans placed inside. I picked up my order and came home to find bacon in my quesadilla. I called the restaurant back and told them and the owner (Mariana) said that it was my fault for not saying it was supposed to be a veggie quesadilla. She asked me to bring the order back so I can get a new quesadilla. When I went back, she gave me the new order and started arguing with me saying that I should have said veggie. What does NO MEAT mean? Meat of any kind, I don’t want it. Doesn’t matter if it’s bacon, chicken, or beef. She didn’t want to admit her mistake and just keep arguing with me about it. I gave the bacon quesadilla back to her and she didn’t even bother to look at it. What was the point of bringing it back then? This is the third time they have did this. Every other person I order with understands NO MEAT means NO MEAT of any kind and the owner herself doesn’t. I think that’s a problem. I do NOT recommend eating here. The customer service can go down the drain and the owner (Mariana) was...
Read moreFood was good. But that was it. Was seated 30 minutes goes by and then the order was taken. Another 20 minutes passes after my wife's food arrives before they bring her any silverware. Then another server came over and was rude to us, snotty and rude. Regardless I order a bloodymary and that's the first gin based sweetened tomato juice I've ever had. Very gross. They got my order wrong 3 times when they asked me on 3 occasions chicken or beef... Defenitly wont go back there. Funny thing is that snotty waitress was only nasty and short with our table, but was extremely smiley and nice to all those other tables. Sorry my whiteness wasn't appreciated there. Well at least that's my opinion. So if you dont want to be hated while you dine then please go to a restraunt where they smile and treat you nice...like doc reales el burrito loco. Good food only goes a certain distance, a pleasant staff will take your business all the way. Good luck. Teach your staff to be kind to any person that walks through those doors. Your customers are the only reason you...
