Mo's Coffee and Cafe — Restaurant in Rockford Township

Stopped in yesterday to show some love and support as him and his wife has always been good people to me even wayyy back when they ran their convenience store for years right by where their restaurant is now. I got the 3/$7 chicken tacos and they were so hot, fresh, flavorful and delicious. I love the vibes of the restaurant it’s very welcoming and warm, it definitely gives a good place to hang out with family and friends for good food and drinks (if that’s your thing) 🙂 Me and him had a good conversation while I chowed down and overall it was so nice to visit and see him after so many years, I wish nothing but success, growth and prosperity to him, his wife and their business 🤎 I will be coming back for breakfast as what their breakfast menu showed are some of my faves and I love breakfast...

My girlfriend & I had a lovely late lunch at Mo's! The service felt more personal and attentive than one would expect from even a 5-star restaurant. The tacos were excellent, just the right kind of spicy & loaded with fresh ingredients and flavor! They also have a nice drinks menu. The atmosphere is cozy, and mixes a bit of vintage decor with modern Americana. A nice place to stop for a bite & a drink while strolling downtown....

Cozy place but I'm used to this type of food being a lot more flavorful. It's good but it's border line bland. Place makes up for this with its atmosphere and beverage options. It's clear the owner has a very light palette since he's very descriptive in how he compares his cooking process to others. I just wish it was more flavorful. But I'll try it a couple of more times to see...
