Curry Express Indian Bistro delivers an exceptional dining experience with authentic flavors, generous portions, and attentive service. Whether you’re vegetarian, a meat lover, or somewhere in between, their thoughtfully divided menu makes ordering a breeze—even for the pickiest eaters. --- Ambiance & Service The bistro’s cozy atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between casual and refined. Staff members are warm and knowledgeable, happy to guide you through the menu or suggest customizations. Your order is prepared fresh, made to order, and arrives piping hot every time. --- Menu & Variety • Clearly separated vegetarian and non-vegetarian sections • Wide selection of appetizers, mains, and desserts • Specialty teas and refreshing beverages This layout ensures everyone at the table can find something they love without wading through options that don’t suit their diet. --- Dishes I Tried 1. Samosas Crisp pastry pockets filled with spiced potatoes and peas, served with tangy tamarind chutney. 2. Goat Curry Tender, melt-in-your-mouth goat simmered in a rich, aromatic gravy that strikes the perfect balance of heat and fragrance. 3. Biryani Fragrant basmati rice layered with succulent meat, saffron, and toasted spices—each bite bursting with flavor. 4. Gulab Jamun Soft, syrup-soaked dough balls with just the right sweetness to round out a savory feast. 5. Chai Tea Creamy, spiced, and comforting—the ideal finale to an indulgent meal. --- Highlights • Everything is made to order and served hot • Generous portions ensure you leave satisfied (and often with leftovers) • Friendly, attentive staff who guide you through the menu • Clear menu layout catering to diverse dietary preferences --- Final Verdict Curry Express Indian Bistro earns a solid 5 out of 5 stars. The authentic flavors, menu clarity, and generous servings make it a must-visit for Indian cuisine enthusiasts and families looking for a fuss-free meal. Whether you’re sampling your first goat curry or craving classic chai, this bistro has you covered. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, first and last time I'll ever try ordering take out from here. Upon reviewing such positive reviews here, we decided to try it out since we've never had Indian food before. The pictures of food looked delicious so we ordered almost 60$ worth of food, vegetable briyani, butter chicken, chicken Tikka, 2 samosas, and 2 orders of flavored nan. We picked up, drove all the way home, started serving our dinner, food smelled and looked amazing!! But after serving myself the butter chicken, I immediately saw a black hair in the orange sauce. I fished it out and had my stomach turn! The place was already closed but I figured id try calling and figure out why this happened. After being passed to several people and put on hold I was told id have to wait until they reopened on Tuesday to receive a refund since they were closed but after I voiced my concerns he agreed to wait there until I arrive to administer the refund. I arrived 45 min after close, brought the food and showed them the hair we found, they then decided to refund me the full amount and tried offering us canned sodas to compensate but at that point I had not ate all day, I was very upset our dinner was ruined and still have to wait several more days to see if I even receive the money back I just couldn't accept anything more than just my money back. I hope others are cautious and check their food more often because I would have been extremely sick had I actually pulled that hair from my mouth. Absolutely no one wants to find hair in their food, just the worst experience. Although they said it was the first time its happened, I think i just happened to be the only one to see the hair through the thick sauce. I just hope and pray no one has to find hair in their food because its definitely something that is hard to forget !

LITERALLY A DECENT INDIAN "BISTRO" WITH FOOD TOURING EXPERIENCE ##### I RECOMMEND ##### TRIVIA : Interesting story - the owner (Mr. Raja) and his dad(Shree Venkat) used to travel around a lot, Dad was a professional chef in similar cuisine, and now, son with his friend have opened a bistro. And the son does justice, is a very humble person.Check out Pics that i have uploaded They are located in ROCKWALL on i30 Quick Trip lots of parking available, very convenient location PLACE : urban, accessible, busy and crowd CUISINE : Indian (south-north) FOOD : The prices are very affordable. quantity is fine. A typical indy-food-joint taste, and is good. Must Try - Palak Paneer, malai kofta, chicken kurma, chicken vindaloo, garlic bread. Their lunch combos(more like buffet set up) is one of the rare set ups which tastes fresh and has good selection and is bigtime value for money Also have had puri-bhaji before, biryani. Great food all the items were upto the palate, and the order was delicious. AMBIENCE and STAFF : Ambience is a typical bistro, buzzy yet peacefull Staff : floor staff is generally one person, the"OWNER HIMSELF" Mr. Raja is a gr8 individual at service, is very humble (again gr8ly welcome).

This was my second time trying Curry Express. First time I only got an order of kheer (Indian rice pudding) and I was disappointed ☹️ I LOVE kheer but found theirs to have an odd texture and the flavor just wasn’t great. However, I noticed they have great reviews and decided to give them a try for an actual meal. I really enjoyed my paneer butter masala, veggie samosas, and the naan. The chutneys are pretty good too. I can not exclaim that it’s the best Indian food I’ve ever had but it’s solid and scratch made. I definitely recommend them, especially since it’s the only Indian joint in Rockwall. My only complaints would be the kheer and the drive thru set up they have going on. They doors are locked and you must drive around back for “drive thru” service. The restaurant backs up to the parking lot of a shady budget suites type motel where plenty of shady characters were hanging out back there. It was still daylight so I wasn’t too concerned but when the time changes and it gets dark early I probably won’t choose to get food from here for that reason alone. Hopefully by then they’ll feel better about actually opening their doors up or will take that into consideration for their patrons but seriously too risky. Someone eventually is going to take advantage of...
