Yum. I'm pretty much a pizza connoisseur and have had all the types. Chicago, New York, even Italy. But my favorite when I'm home here in Northwest Arkansas is Bariola's Pizza. The atmosphere inside is bar-like. A great place to go with the team after the big game. There's also a nice bar area where you can grab a beer with friends. But the real draw for me is the pizza (#1) and the free ice cream cones (#2). Let me expound. I love the crust. It's a thin crust, but not a thin, thin crust, it has some texture to it, but it does have that crispy bottom. And I could go on for days about the toppings. I have never been to a pizza restaurant that gives more toppings than Bariola's. You don't have to play the game "let's see, there's 1, 2, 345, 6 pieces of pepperoni on this large pizza". We always get "The Don". Essentially the meat lovers. Can I tell you that I have NEVER had Canadian bacon like this? I've always had the "looks like pepperoni but pale and chewy". Not here. It's shaved into tiny pieces and super salty (kinda like the taste of prosciutto but not the texture). We substitute the spicy sausage for bacon and have light onions because, I'm tellin' ya, they pile those toppings up like Mt. Vesuvius. A very nice add is that there is an ice cream machine where you can get those little kiddie cake cones with chocolate or vanilla (not an option, just whichever is in the machine at that time). The service has a little bit of good and bad. Let's start with the bad because it's always great to end on a high note. The bad, by far, is the wait. It takes a loooooong time to get your pizza. So much so, as they sit us we're ordering "The Don". But we do manage to satiate ourselves with some pre-lunch/dinner ice cream cones. Is that allowed? Let's go with yes. The good part is that they're really nice and they're apologetic of the wait (where you get to play that other fun game of "those people got sat after us and they already have their pizza"). But what drew me to write a review is that the last time we went, it took longer than forever. We got the "it'll be out any minute!" consolation prize 5 times too many. Then when a man delivered the wrong pizza to our table, we realized it wasn't just a normal delay but someone screwed up. Instead of trying to cover for themselves, our waitress came over and explained the mishap. She gave us a large pizza that was similar to "The Don" but was free for us to snack on while they remade our pizza. How nice was that?! Then she brought out our pizza and we gobbled on down, welcoming the challenge. At the end of the meal, when we asked for a box because we couldn't quite polish off two pizzas between three people, she told us that the meal was complimentary. We insisted to pay but she was just as adamant that we not. No guilt trip. No "you're wellllcommmme" with Eeyore-like eyes cast aside, just a genuine "we screwed up, we're sorry, we love you, please come back". Fantastic pizza. Great wait staff. Honest owners. Free ice cream. Seriously people, what more...

Which I get with a business it would be hard to keep them fresh. The prices suck though. They charged us nearly $7 for a lemonade and a coke. There’s zero excuse for that. Pizza cost was a little high, but I didn’t mind paying more for it. Extra toppings were $1.50. For the mushrooms this was fine there were plenty of them on it. For the black olives it wasn’t. There were maybe 20 olives on the whole pizza and I added it because they are my favorite topping. They are also cheap so no good reason for that either. Atmosphere was nice, I liked the high ceilings and it wasn’t too loud or crowded even though it was busy. The wait was long and some basic complimentary appetizers would have made the experience much better. Salad or bread sticks would have been nice. I have a gluten intolerance and the pizza was actually fine for me. No rashes or pain and only a little trouble breathing, so very nice in that department. Gluten free was another five or six dollar charge and I didn’t want to pay that. It also only came in 10’’. Even considering how bad my allergy is I’d rather not do that.
The service was very basic, and our server didn’t come over nearly enough. The service was by far the worse part.I would eat here again, but my wife said she didn’t want to.
I still don’t understand Rogers. All the restaurants are way overpriced and the food always sucks. This was an exception for the food at least, with a little fine tuning this could be a...
Read moreNever a different experience at this place for me. Worst service every time. Sadly my husband likes their pizza and he suggests it once in a while. This last time was my last straw. We order delivery through bote squad in hopes of avoiding bad service and possibly getting our order right and no attitude from the young, full of attitude servers for once. Nope..not even then can they get one order right. Requested in 2 specific notes no sauce on the sandwich to please put the sauce on the side...and guess what there was sauce on the side alright..sauce in a cup as well as spilling over from inside the sandwich to it's side. So not oy did they add sauce to the sandwich, it's like they poured their whole bottle on it We called to let them know..and guess what? We got less than poor service...over the phone! The girl said we would need to take it up with bite squad.."but bite squad did not make the sandwich" we explained.." well they were the ones that delivered it.so you will have to put in a complaint with them. We will just make you a sandwich when you come back to eat here," she said..( as if we would ever go back there.) No resolution Bariolas is aweful. I dont know why my husband even likes their pizza when their cheese is so chewy and the pizza doesn't ever have enough sauce. Gross The salads was terrible...it was a filled half way with a whole bunch of cheese and some lettuce. I hate this place. Wish I could...
