I reviewed on Facebook already about the terrible customer service that we experienced on opening weekend. Yes I knew they would be busy but staff were rude and we had to leave empty handed after waiting in line for 20 minutes and only moving up 3 places in line. If service is that slow then you need to be a sit down restaurant with wait staff. I received a response to my review exactly like all of the responses to the negative reviews on here and responded with my information but nothing further has come of it. I am not one to complain to get free things. I don’t want to be bought. But if you ask for my contact information so you can forward it to the correct parties and then you don’t contact me further then that tells me that you simply don’t care.

Update 2021- I visited the store again to take advantage of kids eating free on Sundays. Once we went in we found out that there was only one staff member working due to an issue outside of his control. Jesse was an absolute rockstar giving exceptional service while helping customers. He made sure we were taken care of completely! He was so nice and helpful even though he must have been under a large amount of stress. He should be commended for even showing up let alone delivering such great service. I hope that management realizes what they have in Jesse as good workers are so hard to come by these days and this young man obviously has loyalty and drive to do a great job. Thank you Jesse for the great service. On top of all of that it was the best meal I have ever...

I'm from Texas so I know good Dickey's BBQ; I've eaten all my adult life. Never in ALL of those years have I been served a roll so hard that I could use it as a weapon! Never in my life have I had ribs with meat so hard it could cut your throat open when you swallow it. Never havei had Dickey's serve me green beans that were complete mush and only tasted like black pepper. So, I called to be told there wasn't a manager there and then if I needed help I could call back in the morning bc they couldn't help me without a manger. . So I have to eat this garbage? Congratulations Rolla! You have definitely set yourself apart. This isn't award-winning barbecue. This is garbage. Called back today and spoke to Sam, who told me again there is no manager on duty, refused to give me corporate's number and then hesitated to give me his name until the 5th time in a row that I asked. We had to eat somewhere else last night after paying almost $50 for Dickey's and today no one still seems to care. I want a full refund...

Update: Just a few days and the grand opening hiccups seem to have been worked out. This time all the staff I encountered were courteous and efficient. Food is even better when it is warm. Might even give the final star if experiences like this continues.

Original post: Food was good but it was obvious who among the staff could handle a grand opening crowd and who couldn't. The two orders before mine were family packs and I just had an individual meal. One of the people doing sides did not know what went into a family pack and obviously was frazzled. My order was ready, just sitting there getting cold. The frazzled individual let the front of their dirty shirt fall into my food while stretching to fill the sides for the larger orders. Thankfully the customer in front of me let me pay for my food first since his sides were not ready yet. The food was good but by this time quite cold. After they get their new staff flow down I will re-evaluate my rating. Most of them did...

First time visitor Monday May 16 with my bestie. I ordered the brisket burnt ends with fries and slaw. The photo is the amount of meat that was inedible. That’s what I threw away. So dry I couldn’t chew it. AndI felt so bad because my friend had paid for it! Also, my fries never came so I had to go ask for them. There were only 3 tables with people so they weren’t very busy and I couldn’t believe we were forgotten. The guy did bring me a double order of fries and apologized, however they were undercooked and limp so I didn’t eat them either. Very disappointed. The rolls are a joke. Would have been a 1 star review but my friend got the pork burnt end and she said they were good, and the restaurant was clean.

First time here, the food was excellent but the icing on the cake were the three young guys who were working on 1.16.20 about 6 pm. They were friendly, welcoming and offered my husband a taste of the spicy kielbasa because he couldn't make up his mind which one he wanted. They patiently answered our questions and I noticed they were equally as friendly. My brisket was tasty with just a bit of fat as I asked and the creamed spinach was delish! My husband LOVED his spicy kielbasa but was lukewarm about the wings. The rolls were surprisingly soft and delicious. We both agreed the mac and cheese was legit but the baked, mashed potatoes were ordinary. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, we will be back!

Dickey’s BBQ at 5 pm under new management, Saturday . 3 meat platter. Brisket slice the wrong way in the grain, and I can’t tell my burnt ends from chopped brisket. Most importantly there is some pork on my plate but I don’t eat BBQ pork. What if I was Muslim? For flavor, total yuck. I can’t chew it (yes, I still have my teeth.) so far the dogs enjoy it. As always the rolls where very good and the sweet tea is always delicious. You may notice that I was asked to contact the social media team. I did. I don’t remove reviews for refunds.
