Waited for the table to be cleaned. Seated fine by sweet cleaning lady who spoke only Spanish. She brought us chips and salsa quickly. Our waitress didn't show up for 15 minutes. We tasted the chips and salsa which does have a bite, so make sure you have a drink before sampling it. Salsa was authentic 👌. Waitress took our drink order and disappeared until another couple came in to be seated. She seated them and walked away without making any eye contact because she hadn't brought our drinks yet. When our drinks came, there was one missing. She disappeared again while other people came in to be seated. We ordered cheese with salsa verde. We got the cheese sauce, but still not the 3rd drink or the salsa verde. She disappears again and another 15 minutes goes by, then she showed up with a taco salad dinner but nothing else. We were also missing guacamole for taco salad!?! Another 10 minutes and we were brought a portion of the meal ordered (two cold tacos) and still missing the 3rd drink, guacamole, and the salsa verde!?! We tried to speak with the manager but he had gone home,so while we were talking to another male waiter, she shows up with guacomole and a barely warm plate of a tamale, beans and rice. We asked again for the salsa verde?!? She came back with the third drink, but still no salsa verde!?! I have already asked the male waiter for a box to go. Then she comes back with a steaming hot green soup that she says was the salsa verde!?! This waitress is oblivious to your time or needs. Terrible, terrible, terrible! What terrible experience. It was an hour and a half before we could get away. Before we left, the waitress actually came to our table to ask if everything was alright. Smh. I told her in a professional tone that everything was not alright. I listed the issues and she had no response other than a-n-o-t-h-e-r, "I'll be right back." to which I said,"DO you mean it this time?" This dinner was BAD...

We've been here two times, the first time it wasn't busy and the food was good. Lastnight they were pretty busy which is understandable, but as a restuarant on Friday nights I feel they should have been better prepared for their customers. They brought our drinks, but didn't give us enough straws...not a big deal. However, we waited for an hour to recieve our food...and did not get any utensils to eat with, I had to kinda yell at the guy walking past with hands full of silverwear to even get us some so we could eat. My food that I waited an hour for was cold, they left off the pico I asked for. My boyfriends food came with rice, and they did not bring his rice. The atmosphere was loud, people were drinking...which is probably normal for a mexican resturant that serves alcohol on the weekend. The food was just not good lastnight though. If you go on a weekday when it isn't busy, then the food was good, hot, and we had no trouble. On the weekend though, from my experience it was not good at all, maybe they should consider hiring more staff for the weekends. We were very dissapointed lastnight, my boyfriend even mentioned to them when paying our experience was not good, they did not even apologize. My food is still sitting in the fridge, because after waiting that long and it being cold I was no longer hungry. My chicken was on the verge of being burnt, it was a little hard to chew. So, all in all...a good restaurant when they aren't busy, but not good if they are. Personally, I doubt I will come back. To add to this, after the hour of waiting for food they tried to bring us someone elses plates, it was honestly just a mess, and was not a good dining...

Today was my second time in and I was so disappointed. The first time was great, this time not so much. I ordered online, waited the 15 minutes and came in. The man at the front desk said hello...never looked up and asked what I wanted. I let him know I had an online order and he seemed annoyed and said they're still working on it. No problem. He comes out a bit later, hands me the bag without saying word or even looking in my direction. I was patient and friendly and tipped well on my to go order so I'm not sure why the cold shoulder.

I got the food home and it was pretty sad looking. I didn't order lunch, they were full dinner plates but the amount was much smaller than the previous time. I had the shrimp nachos and my husband had fajitas with the 3 meats. There was hardly any meat and they forgot the tortillas, his favorite part. Also ordered the flan which was delicious last time. This time they covered it in some nasty chocolate sauce, which wasn't in the description or on it last time. I wouldn't have ordered it if I had known.

Photos are of my nachos and my husbands fajita filling, after he loaded it with pepper.

I know I wasn't a customer staying in the restaurant, but it would've been nice to be treated with even a little respect or at least eye contact. My husband is wondering why I talked it up so much and...

We were in town visiting and tried Frida's Cantina and Grill for the first time. We arrived and needed to wait on one more member of our party. We were served our drinks, chips and salsa promptly. Our server was very attentive while we waited for the last member of our party. The food was excellent and very fresh tasty. We had a total of 5 people in our party, everyone was very satisfied with the service and their meal. I had the combo and chose the taco Chili Poblano, chicken enchilada and it came with rice and beans. Parking was spacious and the entrance was handicap accessible. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean.

Nice surprise to find a really good Mexican restaurant in the heart of Rolla. Food is very authentic with nice size portions for the money. I had the Carnitas plat that came with rice and refried beans along with a sliced avocado. My pork was roasted in the traditional style and presented with chunks rather than shredded. It was full of flavor with nice mixture of crispy and tender bits. My wife had the Taquitos which also came with rice and beans but with guacamole instead of an avocado. Our server was friendly and attentive and the overall experience was very nice. Definitely the best Mexican restaurant we’ve tried in Rolla.
