Smoothie King — Restaurant in Rome

So after shopping at Aldi I wanted something fresh and decided to get a strawberry extreme at Smoothie King ( not the 1st time I've been there and ordered the same thing) I ordered a medium, she asked if i wanted extra strawberries I said no thanks then she asked cash or card,I said card. Before I inserted my card she said your total is $9.30!! For a medium smoothie !! I said whoa, wait there must be a mistake in which she replied, No. I said I know on several occasions I have only paid 5 something. She told me to push the red button on the card machine which I did. She was just standing there, so again I told her that shouldn't be right, for a medium no extras? She started playing around in the register but never said anything. There were customers behind me and i repeated that i have ordered this same drink and only paid $5 something but no response, so I said that's OK, I don't want anything. I figured she would say let me see, maybe she made a mistake and would correct it but no, she simply said ok! So I left and went to Chick-fil-A . I'm sorry but this was ridiculous. There are too many great places to choose from and I guess that's what I'll do.

Edit- after writing my review a person from Smoothie King replied and asked me to email them so they could take care of the issues I had. I did and I have not heard a single word from them!! It has been over a month so they can't say it was too soon for me to write this! I guess they want to LOOK like they care by replying to my review but apparently they don't! But I do not care because we have many choices to get a great Smoothie with great customer service other than this...

Seriously the worst customer service - ever. A coworker and I went in to your shop 10/26 at about 2pm to get smoothies for us and some staff members. Two girls were “working” and deep in conversation when we walked in. We waited for them to greet us and they didn’t. We waited and walked around in front of their register and they still ignored us and went on with their conversation which seemed heated and about another employee. We waited a good five minutes and continued to be ignored and decided to take our business elsewhere. At that smoothie place we were greeted immediately by staff members as we walked in the door and knew we had made a better decision. Not sure who owns this place but the two gals working today 10/26 are not a good example of customer service or work ethic. Truly...

I decided to order an Angel's Food and Mom ordered a Blueberry Raspberry. The Angel's Food is supposed to contain bananas, strawberries, nonfat milk, and light brown cane sugar. It tastes good, and has the flavors of the fruit. The Blueberry Raspberry has protein powder in it, including the fruits. Mom didn't like it because of this, but I did. (°_° ") There're many other flavors that are supposed to be healthy for fitness and exercise. I'd recommend to anyone who's looking for something to drink that's not full of syrup or sugar.
