Better Foods Deli Inc — Restaurant in Roseville

In the 1990s this was a staple lunch for myself, my staff, and my accounts that I would treat. It was consistently buzzing with a local ambience, high school kids behind the counter...it had energy and was also so delicious.

My career changed as did my location so I stopped visiting. But have enjoyed a sandwich a few times since.

I was so excited when I received a gift from a local real estate consultant to go have lunch at Better Foods Deli. I am not a coupons for many reasons but one of which feeling like I’m going to get some thing low quality and half the service. But, today I decided to go for it because I love the memories attached to this deli. I was greeted by a sweet young lady and she didn’t roll her eyes when I told her that I was ordering off of a free coupon that I had.

I was provided with great service and when I opened up my wrap sandwich it brought back memories of that soft roll and Italian meats.

Little local spot not too far from the 80 freeway entrance, found this place accident after a sandwich craving kicked in. Decided to give the larger chains a break and try this place. Glad i did 👍

Regular size sandwiches allow you to add up to two different kinds of meat, also sell half sandwiches and 4 meat (large ) sandwiches. Freshly made, not a long wait at all. Friendly staff, continuously asked if i needed anything else.

Ordered: 1 peppered Turkey sandwich w/o tomatoes and onions 1 smoked turkey & roast beef sandwich with everything on it 2 deviled eggs

Sandwiches were big, a lot of taste and bang for the unexpectedly inexpensive prices for the amount and quality of food. I see why this place has a 4.8 rating 🔥 I will definitely be back to this new found favorite.

Was looking for some fresh sandwiches with the family and stumbled across this small mom-pop place. Ordered two custom sandwiches with the standard Italian meats, and some pasta with meat balls. First the place is small and very quaint, but covered in California pride and SF Giants fandom. The couple who run it are polite and patient as with a family trying to order usually demands. Second, the price was extremely reasonable if not cheaper than expected, and last but not least the food was absolutely amazing and tasted amazing. It is not everyday you find such great quality meats that are full of flavor.
