Unfortunately, the service my family and I experienced was extremely disappointing and disrespectful.
We were a party of seven and were sat at one table. In the beginning, this was completely fine and we were very polite to our server. She was even polite with us, but only at first. After being given our appetizers, we soon realized we were running out of room on the table and no one could move their plates or cups anywhere.
We asked if there was any possible way we could use the table behind us in order to create more space. We were immediately met with attitude from our server. Our server was a taller, older lady with brown hair that was worn in a bun and had glasses.
We were told she could box up our food, but we tried to explain to her that we were still trying to eat our appetizers. Our entrees came out very quickly and we tried to tell our server that we absolutely have no room for the remainder of our food. We were still in the process of yet again, trying to finish the appetizers.
Instead of trying to help us create more table space, like we had asked before, we were met with even more attitude. We finally decided to push another table to our original one ourselves and when the server came back, she immediately stormed away.
Upon trying to find where she went, we soon realized she was angrily talking about our party to the teenagers at the host stand. She then stormed away again and continued to make the hosts come to our table and inform us that we weren’t allowed to move the tables.
We attempted many times to ask for more table space before moving the tables ourselves, yet not a word was said until we took matters into our own hands. We stated many times; no, we don’t want our food boxed up to create more table space…we were still visibly eating it.
The server avoided refilling any of our drinks or checking on us after the situation escalated due to her attitude. However, thank you very much to the kind gentleman that was the manager working during this time. He apologized profusely for our server’s attitude and tried his very best to fix everything. Thank you so much again!
I would highly reconsider picking this location if you are trying to find somewhere to eat with your...
Read moreThere’s a reason we keep coming back to Chili’s, and that reason is Marcus. When he’s behind the bar, you know your drink will never be empty, and the deals will always be flowing. Whether it’s 2-for-1 margaritas or a bucket of beers at a price that makes you feel like you just hacked the system, Marcus is the man making it happen. He doesn’t just serve drinks; he creates an experience—an atmosphere where you can sit back, sip on something cold, and feel like you’re winning at life.
Now, let’s talk about what happens when you betray Marcus. Last week, for reasons I still can’t explain, we made the mistake of going to Applebee’s. Or should I say AppleFEES, because that’s exactly what they hit us with. The drinks? Weak. The prices? Criminal. The vibes? Nonexistent. We walked in expecting a decent time, and we walked out feeling like we had just donated our wallets to a corporate scam. There were no deals, no personality, and definitely no Marcus.
At Chili’s, Marcus makes sure you’re always getting the best bang for your buck. He knows the menu inside and out, always has a solid recommendation, and somehow convinces you to try a new drink that ends up being your new favorite. You ask for a refill? It’s already in front of you. You mention happy hour? He’s got a suggestion that makes you feel like you’re gaming the system. Compare that to AppleFEES, where you practically have to beg for service and then get charged extra for the privilege of being ignored.
Beyond the drinks and deals, Marcus just gets it. He knows how to keep the energy up, he remembers your order from last time, and he treats regulars like royalty. He’s not just a bartender—he’s the reason Chili’s feels like home. Meanwhile, AppleFEES is out here making you feel like a fool for expecting anything remotely close to a good time. The difference is night and day, and we learned our lesson the hard way.
So, let this be a warning to anyone thinking of straying from the greatness that is Marcus at Chili’s. Stay loyal, keep the drinks flowing, and avoid AppleFEES at all costs. Because when it comes to good times, great service, and legendary deals, Marcus is the king. Applebee’s? Just another overpriced mistake we won’t be...
Read moreWe went here for a family dinner to celebrate a wedding anniversary. We have been here many times over the years, that is why we came back. After tonight's experience I'm not sure we will. This is going to be a longer than normal post. I called ahead for a table for six, since they don't do reservations. It took over 20 minutes to get a table ready that just needed to be cleared and cleaned up. **1a. The bartender was timely and pleasant with our beverages we ordered while waiting! When we were finally seated there was food on a couple of chairs and half of a hamburger on the floor along with an excessive amount of food crumbs. When brought to the hostesses attention she just shrugged it off and walked away. **2a. The server was a pro!! GREAT with getting drinks and taking our orders. Even split the tab in the manner requested. The food, used to long waits during COVID was time to visit, was over cooked (cheddar sausage?), soggy (corn on cob) and poorly portioned (brisket quesadilla did not have meat on all pieces) While eating a "manager" type came to ask how things were. I advised they could be better and when he asked what could be done, I asked for the food on the floor to be removed. - Which was promptly done without comment. Afore mentioned hostess began clearing the table while we were still sitting and crowded one of our group to the point that she got up to allow the person to do what she came to do. To the point she even took the glass of water that was still being consumed. Upon leaving while saying our farewells there is a rock filled parking lot divider. In it sticking about 8-10 inches out of the ground are the remnants of a steel sign post. I did not see it and ended up tripping and falling. See pics
At this point I just wanted to leave. We did and if we do go back it will be to eat in the bar area only.
I hope this establishment figured things out sooner than later. If they weren't a chain they wouldn't make it like we...
