It was my first time visit at High Pines Brewery. I must admit I was very impressed how big this establishment is in comparison of other breweries in the Twin Cities area. Parking was very easy to acquire and the first thing I noticed was the brewery patio. Also noticed that it seemed to be connected with a restaurant.

The beertender explained we could sit at the front of the bar or choose a table/booth to receive service. Our server was very friendly and checked on my cousin and me periodically. I ordered a tulip pour stout called Sap Shack and a tulip pour sour ale called Ruby. Both beers were delicious especially the maple stout.

I asked the waitress about merch and requested for a XL hoody. Unfortunately HPB was sold out, but she literally grabbed all XL products of merch and displayed all the merch gear to me at our table. That was very awesome of her.

Also unfortunately I didn’t get to snag more photos inside the brewery and that’s because it was packed (which isn’t a bad thing to me). I can’t wait to come back and drink some real tap beer...

Nice place. The beer is very good with a nice variety of lighter beer (the Riceratops is REALLY good), IPAs (try the grapefruit one), and some sours. I really like the variety because it seems like so many breweries either have ALL sours or ALL IPAs.

The Tipsy Steer does BBQ here which I did not try at this location, but I've had it at their Blaine location and it was really good so I assume it's similar in Roseville.

Location is good. Easy to get to with lots of parking. Khan's Mongolian BBQ is across the street and there are other restaurants that can deliver quickly.

My only complaint is that ordering is by table service (waiters/waitresses). I really prefer that brew pubs have a service yourself type situation where you order from the bar. That way you can pay as you go, or keep a tab and not have to wait for the wait staff to come around if you want to order more...

I deleted my initial 5 star review and am replacing it today because of a poor experience this afternoon. Have wanted to get back, was in the area and decided to pick up a couple of new crowlers to try. Loved everything I have had so far, but the vibe was definitely different this afternoon. Customer service was horrible from the bartender. Took awhile to get to me, seemed irritated and curt, then walked off away from the bar and the register with my credit card which should never be done. Then he reappeared and ran the charge. If there is an unusual charge on my card, I know where to go. Crowlers were not wiped down, had beer all over the top of one. I'll rate the beer in untapped and I'm sure it will be great, but with so many other great breweries in the twin cities, I'll never go back again...

Pictures say a thousand words but sadly and inexplicably, I only have one picture of my delicious beer. But believe me, it's all so incredible. Have only been here twice. Once for brunch, another for dinner. Everything I've had has been incredible. Beer, food service. And like Invictus in Blaine, HPB uses Tipsy Steer as their restaurant/food service. Only difference is HP has more of a full-service restaurant vibe to it. *Update: now 3x. Will comment more on food on the Tipsy Steer page. But High Pines is still 5 ⭐ Super cool place, super great beer, food & service.

Service was great, the waitress was very attentive, granted there weren't many people at opening time. Tried the flight which is 3 beers, liked NEIPA (The Rose And the Wolf). We also got the Bavarian pretzels which were really good. I ordered the Hazy sunshine which was the short rib burger with an egg and bacon and cheese. It was OK, seemed too mushy to me, I was expecting something more firm as far as the meat. My friend got the wood fire pizza, sausage and Pep, he said it was really good. Over all it was good first outing there. Will try it again.
