Short Stuff Cafe — Restaurant in Roseville

Just read other reviews, TIP your burrito maker! I missed the step as I called ahead and just grabbed my burrito and left. I won't make that mistake again.

This is the missing link I've been searching for all these years on my early a.m. trips to ski. Not far off the highway, clean restrooms, gas. but instead of the usual non-food poison that they serve at most Chevron stations, this one has a little niched out spot where they make wraps to order in all kinds of combinations. I am a picky food person and while this is not your San Francisco grass-fed free-range organic blah blah blah it is a very tasty option to fuel up for the day. It gets five stars because it's exactly what it needs to be in the right place and the right time. Forget nasty morning Starbucks pastries, come here. Kinda dont want to tell the world how amazing this place is cuz then it's not a hidden gem buuuut for the sake of all mankind it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make... I know it sounds odd that THE best breakfast you will find in roseville is in a gas station but it's perfect for those that dont have the time for sit down breakfast places but are absolutely sick of greasy egg product slapped on a flattened hamburger bun. Their breakfast burritos are phenomenal,huge and an extremely good deal.. for like 5 bucks you get a burrito big enough to be lunch too and the combinations are vast,something for everyone. I highly recommend ordering ahead however and dont forget to tip,those ladies bust their butts. The staff at Chevron are always super friendly & welcoming. Cant recommend this place...

Okay atmosphere is probably not applicable here, but the food was so good and the staff were so nice that I don't want the overall score to suffer. As the other reviews share, this place is in the little store part of a Chevron station. Random to be sure but a real surprise. I had the chorizo breakfast wrap and it was delicious!!! Having now tried a selection of all their sauces, I would ask that they go ahead and make it with some.
