Steak 'n Shake — Restaurant in Ross Township

Rudest customer service ever I normally go to the one in schererville but since I was out by south lake mall and I wanted something fast and delicious I decided to stop here. Hosts was average said hello told us to follow her and just sat our menus on the table. It took our server 10 mins to greet us. She then came asked if we were ready to order I told her no we were still looking at the menu but I told her if she can take our drink of course with an attitude she said yeah I asked for a coke my husband asked for a wate. And turned around with an attitude. Took her 5mins to bring us our drink. When she came back to take our order I told her mine and then she took my husbands. Our food took 45mins and she still came by and said I'm sorry but the kitchen forgot to make the bacon it's going to be a little longer so they can make it fresh. Like seriously 50mins for a burger it DONT EVEN TAKE BDUBS 50mins for service! Not once did she come ask if we needed a refill either. Not only that I had some friends meet us and they sat with us for almost 5 mins she didn't even come greet them or anything I got her attention and she came by with an attitude I said can you take their order and she just looked at them and waited for them to speak. I'm sorry I was a waitress also and I know my manners what even happen to hello my name is ...: what could I get you drink!? She didn't even brings their drink I got up went to register where she cashed the guy in front of me and then jumped to the guy behind me completely skipped me and I said I'm sorry I was here before him and she rolled her eyes i was like can I speak to a manger got me a manager and the manager took care of our table for the night but the managers excuse was that they only had 2 servers for the night that still doesn't give her the excuse to not greet a table and let them know she will be right with them.

Never going back there again I rather drive an extra 30mins for better...

came here to redeem a free milkshake and the lady working at the window was rude as hell beyond words! the one and only thing we came to order was that ONE free milkshake and there were NO other cars behind us or even in the lot! we ordered at the speaker and then she told us it will be full price just to let you know and we are like okay? we decide to just wait till we are at the window to provide her with our code because thats how most places work and we have NEVER experienced a worker at a fast food restaurant of all places, show such Hostility like she was INSANELY inconvienced or something ehen she was NOT! we pull around after ordering and let her know we have the code and she immediately just says “how come you didnt tell me that before” with the ugliest most god awful attitude them took my husbands phone without a word and closed her window to put it on then gave his phone back gave us our shake only 60 seconds later and then shut the window again with no goodbye, good day nothing. if shes so pointlessly miserable she should not be working there at all. safe to say we will not be returning. we were purely shocked by how something so simple turned so horrid. I would advice you to not bother coming here and dealing with this lady as she is always there. shake was...

I come here quite often because who doesn't love a cold shake during happy hour ,1/2 off? However when you roll through the drive through only order a shake and it takes minimum 10 mins every time ,sometimes closer to 15mins, even if you are the first car in line and you see employees are always out on a smoke break. Managers and crew smoking when all I'm waiting for most of the time is one shake. Come on really?

I have walked in the door thinking it may be faster, nope!! There are some days it was slow in the dining room and I walk in order to go and it takes 15 mins to make 1 shake. I've walked in there to grab a bag of Ice and it takes 3-4 mins just to get that. Rediculous!!!!!

They have never gotten my order wrong and one time they gave me free fries for waiting 20 mins in the drive through for one shake. Honestly sounds like management doesn't care enough. Only one time was the shake done in under 5 mins.

If they had their act together I would come in a lot more because you could expect one shake to be done in reasonable time with reasonable circumstances.

Also usually parking lot is trashed with food everywhere. When parking between walking from your car to the door I'm usually trying to avoid to walk on food...
