#1 Chop Suey — Restaurant in Ross Township

I should have listened to my coworker who had previously eaten there. She told me it’s not good and to only order the appetizer special. I wanted to see for myself and give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered the orange chicken lunch special which came with an egg roll and I also ordered crab rangoons. Rice had no flavor and was pretty dark - was ok once I added soy sauce. Orange chicken was nothing special and a small portion of chicken with 2 huge pieces of broccoli to fill the empty space. Unfortunately, both the crab rangoons and the egg roll smelled like chitterlings. If you know that smell… there is no way those items should have smelled anything like it! Called to let them know how badly it smelled and I was given the option to bring it back- brought it back and asked for a refund for the rangoons-( kept the rice and chicken) and the cashier continued to answer the phone, didn’t apologize, and made me wait quite a while for my refund which should have been made a priority over new orders. I only found out the egg roll smelled horrible like the Rangoons when I came back or I would have asked for a refund for that as well. Hopefully I don’t get sick… I will...

This place used to be very good. But the quality of food is getting worse. They claim to open at 11am but they are often just getting out of the van to load groceries and supplies after 11am. They are often just getting there at 11am. Which means they have nothing ready. The fryers are not hot to make egg rolls, the vegetables have not been cut, The rice has to be cooked at least 20 minutes, and the rice for chicken fried rice is gummy if you order it at 11am. Yuck! They should arrive at 10:30am so that when someone comes in at 11am, the time they say they are open, he/she won't have to wait at least a half-hour to...

First off ordered a lunch special and a crab Rangoon at 12:41pm for delivery, at 1:41pm I called and ask how much longer for my order, whoever answered had attitude and said MAYBE 10-15 more minutes. I said well cancel my order she said can you at least wait 10 more minutes, I said yes and hung up..15 more minutes goes by I called back and said how long now...the woman said half an hour then put a man on...he said we no deliver there anymore and hung up because I canceled..how rude is that and I've been going there for over 10 years and they are only a few minutes away from me...I will be filing a complaint...
