Finally got to stop at this classic diner on a Saturday morning...and just barely. By just barely, I mean that I dropped my family off and had to circle around the roads near the restaurant twice before finally getting a parking spot after almost giving up. That says something to the local popularity, especially considering this is a stones throw from two other popular area diners. Unsurprisingly, the place was packed, and my near 3 year old was having a bad go of it, so waiting was hard on him. One of the waitresses was kind enough to combine two different two top tables into one so we could be seated quicker, which was very thoughtful. I can't say my little boy made it a ton easier from there (😅🤦‍♂️), but we did out best for that morning. I had the BELT (Bacon, Egg, Lettuce Tomato), which definitely felt like a diner throwback I'm an enjoyable way. My wife enjoyed her omelette and my daughter raved about her Sausage Egg and Cheese sandwich. Overall, a very nice experience, even given the stressor of a younger child. So be prepared to potentially wait to be seated (and maybe park), and expect a decent wait for your food since they are cooking from scratch and in obvious large quantity, especially for the overall diner size. But with patience in mind, this is definitely a worthwhile and funky retro spot to enjoy a meal.

This was a pretty good diner. I liked the front row seats near the griddle, it felt like "hibachi breakfast" at times. (I realize other places let you do this as well, but it felt more amplified here.) The service was a bit chaotic and disorganized at times, but what small business isn't experiencing that right now? Either way, the sightly shortstaffed employees were all very kind. Everything was kept pretty clean and the coffee was better than the average diner. The food was very good. They have a full spectrum of ingredients, including my beloved spinach. My wife and I both ordered omelettes. Some people prefer zero brown on their eggs; they say that brown spots means the eggs are burnt from being cooked too fast. Brown on eggs is not a deal breaker for me, but I do generally seek out diners that cook fluffy omelettes without any brown spots. Valliant's cook their eggs too quickly, and while I loved every bite, it would have been that much better if they were cooked a little bit slower. Overall, this is still a five star recommendation. Check them out if you are in the area.

A FOODIE’S FIND OF A VERY PLEASANT FAMILY-RUN DINER, a testimonial that the American Diner tradition is alive and well😎😎😎. The place has a terrific ambiance, throwback to the 1960s. It’s very well lit with natural light. It looks so very clean…. It looks very popular to locals, to not young and old👏👏👏. It’s a 6 to 2 operation, suggesting a successful family business 👏👏👏. The menu is both breakfast and lunch burgers/sandwiches, a handful of salads. The prices are very very affordable. The menu suggests this is a place specializing in Omelettes. We had the Mushrooms Cheese and Valliant’s Omelettes….simple to look at, but a surprising moist and flavorful centers where the egg is king🤩🤩🤩. They were surprisingly satisfying that literally breaks the fast. Coffee was strong and fresh. Service is outstanding. Very highly recommended😎😎😎

Stopped in yesterday with my boyfriend service was horrible. we ordered and waited but once we got our food the food was cooked incorrectly. not once after our food hit the table did our server or anyone else ask us how the meal was until we checked out. the meal was supposed to be a Medium cooked steak and scrambled eggs. the steak was well done and was not eaten. When we checked out my boyfriend said my steak was well done. the lady behind the counter said well was it good and he said No, I asked for medium and it was well done. She then said oh okay well 33.82 or what ever the change was. made us pay for something we did not eat nor checked on us. now we have come in about 3 ike's and never had a bad experience. we will never be back. clearly they don't care about service or how peoples food is cooked. Also our server didn't even serve us a food as she was sitting on her behind (a$$) next to her boyfriend eating. never checked on us after...
