Chaplins Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Roswell

This place is bottom of the barrel scum. Giving it a 1 star is a compliment for them considering it makes you HAVE to pick at least 1. I was physically assaulted at this place last night. I had called an uber to go home and was told by a staff member to come on the patio because it was cold so I listened. Not even 2 minutes go by and the owner and his hot head was like get out and I said I was told to wait here in which he had the security physically and quite forcefully push me more than once out of the patio to the ground. Prior to that were some other men that were hitting another guy for some reason I do not know. (Oh and apparently the cameras "did not work" while these things were happening, how convienient)

Sadly, besides that...I have been going to this establishment for close to 21 years. The previos owners were very nice and actually had good food. The food has gone downhill since Mike Kramer has taken over. They KEYWORD "USED" to have the best chicken fingers and actually made their own salad dressing/dips. Now they give it individual Kens brand dressing and the chicken fingers taste nothing like they used to plus are much smaller and oddly uniform looking almost like mcdonalds. And the fried mushrooms used to be good as well, when I recently had those they were nastily overcooked.

The one good thing is that they do not allow smoking.

Other than that this is worse than scum. Be careful if you go there. There is a lot shadyness to the place with the new ownership. On another occasioan I noticed a car in parking lot with a very bad flat tire. I took a pic of the tire and liscense plate hoping for him to be a decent human and went in showed Mr. Kramer in which he said "not my problem". So he shows concern for the patrons. I ended up going to the person leading kareoke to announce so the person would know if they didn't already. The person might not have even been there, but the lack of concern for patrons, the lack of "security cameras not working" or withholding when he knows his staff had no reason to put their hands on me.

So I have been going to this place for a long time. I started going more because my partner loves this place and I met some really great people here .The only problem is the owner really favors a particular person that causes a lot of drama not only in our lives but others at this establishment. honestly, other than that, we’ve never really had a problem here there are the occasional overly drunks, but that’s everywhere.we love the bartenders They really get to know the regulars.they always try to stay professional even if they don’t want to. I also love the fact that they converted this to no smoking, but wish they also put that for the enclosed patio because a lot of times the patio has better music. I do miss how the food used to be. Especially there was a tuna wrap with pita bread that was so good. I had it pretty much all the time and while I was pregnant and used to order it for delivery or takeout and my partner loves the lemon pepper wings. Sometimes I feel like we mainly went there for the food. Sadly, the wings are a little bit different and they removed the wraps with pita off of the menu .The karaoke is nice, but there’s times where favoritism plays a role, especially if you give an extra tip. Overall, I do recommend this place but just be aware of these few things and you should be fine. Parking is a hit or miss so just be aware some nights can be overly crowded .If it wasn’t for the difference in food,favoritism, an overall experience I would’ve given it a five stars. I do also really wish the owner would be a little bit more accountable with stopping drama before it escalates to something major .I do feel like there’s a little bit of blindness in that area especially with that one main girl that causes problems every time she’s there and we’re there we’ve gotten to the point of thinking to re-establish a restraining order on...

STAY away from this place (far far away) unless you want everything stolen from u!!!!! Worse management SHXT and HEAD My car was broken into Friday July 20, 2019. Car had window smashed work case and golf equipments were taken from the back seat! The cook/kitchen helps were outside in front of my car the whole time? Please let me know if there is any information on this because I strongly felt that someone out there know something! The items taken had sentimental value to me and I would like to have it back. It has been months since theft took place but no words from police or management except you know what! Several more break-ins reported just last month but Chaplin ownership did nothing. Then when I try to go back to the place, they tried to kick me out of their sorry place for unknown reason! I will not go there if I were you!
