Nova Cafe Chinese,Thai & Hibachi — Restaurant in Roswell

First time visitor at their "grand opening" but sure they are new here or just refurbished the place. Nevertheless the place felt fresh and clean and new: tables and chairs new, no dings on walls, no smell of "we've been here awhile." Decore was a litt sparten but I liked the clock and smiling cat.

We were quickly waited on and drinks, appetizer and main course came pretty quickly (it wasn't busy at 5:30 on a Wednesday either). I had the Sesame Tofu with white rice. Delicious. Price was reasonable and we had enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

The staff was (overly?) pleasant and gracious but not distracting. Lots of options for dishes and drinks. There were a few typos on things (I doubt they open at 12 am for example) and the Sesame Chicken dish has the option of being Tofu instead? Weird.

Quite a few delivery pickups happened so try at home, too.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!

I ordered my food from their website and was charged $24.75 for Steak Hibachi and $10.50 for Crab Rangoon. Their menu prices on this are $18 and $8.dollars respectively.

Their website is apparently run by DoorDash, and even though I picked it up myself, it was classified as a delivery automatically by their system. That means I paid $9.25 to DoorDash to pick up my own food!

The food was great but that is beyond ridiculous to offer the ability to order online (which saves them the hassle of having to answer calls while serving customers) FOR PICKUP and pay almost 10 dollars for that.

28% of my bill was purely a scam.

Edit: they changed their link on Google to redirect to their Facebook, so I updated my rating to reflect their food quality which was superb. Just don't order online...

Yesterday, we had a wonderful meal at Nova Cafe and just had to share! The food was absolutely delicious—everything tasted incredibly fresh and full of flavor. Beyond the great food, they offer a nice selection of beer and wine, which paired perfectly with our meal. The service truly stood out as well; our server was very attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout the entire evening.
