I went in What i thought was a family establishment, And was told my four month old daughters stroller could not be next to the booth and that it would half to be parked somewhere else in the restaurant by i think a server to the woman who sat us down because originally we thought everything was fine and than the other woman said “ did you tell them they can’t have that parked right there and they need a high chair or something” while we were sitting down she couldn’t even directly explain to us why or anything. So i took my daughter out to hold her and me and my partner decided before we could even order that this wasn’t going to be somewhere we were dining. It is completely unacceptable and ridiculous the stroller was not a safety hazard and there was most definitely room to walk around it. I work at ihop as a server right in saco and we have NEVER told a family they can’t have there stroller parked next to there table EVEN if it’s taking up room. BECAUSE we are a REAL family establishment. Sad because i’ve ate there before i had my daughter and it was a decent experience and the food was pretty good. Very very uncomfortable and unfortunate morning for my family, but We went to the golden rooster right in saco and our stroller was no problem! to them and they happily accommodated our...

I was looking for a quick, cheap diner breakfast and stumbled upon Lucky Loggers. Located at the Saco Shopping Plaza, this no-frills restaurant has an extensive menu and prices that you’re not likely to find elsewhere around this area. I ordered the Lumberjack Breakfast for $12 — it came with three eggs, plenty of toast, hash-browns, bacon, two sausages, and a small juice and coffee. Seriously, you just can’t beat that. Unfortunately, the hash browns tasted quite old. I had to add a lot of ketchup, salt, and pepper to make them edible. I ordered my eggs sunny side up, and two arrived already popped. The bacon was also overcooked.
The service was great — the waitress was attentive and friendly. For $12, I guess you can’t ask for more. If you’re looking for a quick, cheap meal without caring much about quality, then this is a good...
Read moreAs with every place these days we had to give our name and a phone number. The difference here is they also took our temperature. Kudos to them for looking out for their employees and customers. Everyone was masked. This is the kind of neighborhood diner I love. As we were signing in, the waitress called out an incoming customer by name, genuinely happy to see him. We were seated quickly, given coffee and water right away. I ordered the eggs Benedict with seasoned home fries and my husband had a bacon/onion omelet with wheat toast, hash browns, and corned beef hash on the side. I enjoyed my breakfast so much, I forgot to post a picture. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the Canadian bacon was not overly salty as I have had at other places. The seasoning on the potatoes was just enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and look forward to going back to try other...
