Sweets & Co. — Restaurant in Saco

Stopped in here for the first time today. Got an assortment of things to try, including a strawberry chocolate cupcake, ube loaf, cinna mini bites, and a lemon blueberry muffin. My roommate got a sandwich on an everything bagel, and we also split a Vietnamese coffee. Everything was absolutely delicious and so fresh!! They were very busy, but we didn't wait long for our items, and took them home to devour. The staff asked me if I had ever tried that kind of coffee before because they've received mixed reviews from other customers thinking they got ripped off due to the size of the coffee and the amount of ice in it. I assured her I loved that kind of coffee and understand it is dessert coffee for sipping slowly and waiting for it to melt, not a large cup of iced coffee you can gulp. And it did not disappoint, let me tell you. The lemon blueberry muffin was probably my favorite overall-so light and fluffy! The chocolate strawberry cupcake frosting was to die for, and the cupcake was VERY satisfyingly chocolatey. The bagel sandwich was fresh and tasty and the texture of the bagel was light and properly chewy. The ube loaf was pleasant and a little dense, but in a good way. It would be nice with early gray I think. I will definitely be returning...

This place is amazing and exactly what Maine needs more of! We were so excited that a gluten free cafe opened up so we made the drive 20 minutes from Scarborough and will definitely be coming back. I came here with my Mom and younger sister who has celiac disease and everything was delicious. The italian sandwich had so much flavor and was one of the best sandwiches i’ve had. We also tried the avocado, the sausage egg and cheese, and the star of the show which was the cinnamon bites. The homemade gluten free focaccia was not dry at all like most gluten free breads. It was fluffy, moist, crispy, and light in all the right places! We also tried the white chocolate and caramel lattes with oatmilk which was very good as well and came in a fun boba cup. We stopped by Sweets and Co Cafe in downtown Saco for the first time today, and we were blown away! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so warm and welcome—it’s clear they truly care about their customers.

As a gluten-free bakery, they absolutely deliver on flavor! Everything we tried was packed with taste, proving that gluten-free doesn’t mean compromising on quality. My son was especially thrilled to see they offered boba—that little detail completely made his day.

We’re so glad to have found this gem right on Main Street. Amazing customer service, delicious gluten-free treats, and a friendly vibe—what more could you ask for? We’ll definitely be back!
