Café Capricho — Restaurant in Sacramento

I've never experienced worse service ever. The owner Marina I believe that's here name could care less about her customers. I was a repeat customer but the young lady that works during the day is made of ice. I ordered my food and explained I'm a cancer patient and it's had for me to swallow. So I would like to purchase a little more inch a lot of sauce for my enchilada so that it's not so dry. She argued with me about it and I asked for extra avocado she wouldn't give me that either. I asked for the owner to speak to me and the owner refused. I was in tears and left. I asked to speak to the owners husband Ed and she argued with me and told me he is not an owner he's only the owners husband. This is wonderful place to get food as long as you really don't care about the service. and don't even ask for anything extra because you're not gonna get it whether you're willing to pay...

Totally home-style food. However, don't try to customize.

I went in about an hour before closing, saw the only other customet got a "smothered" burrito, which sounded good to me. So I go to the counter, and the young girl who originally greeted me was replaced by the owner Lady. I asked her for the smothered burrito, which is not on the menu, and she said "we don't do that here". I replied, "I don't mind paying extra for it and I just saw the person before me get it". The owner stared at me, "we DON'T do that here. She," gesturing to the young girl, "should never have done that."

I couldn't believe that the owner 1) wouldn't accommodate such a simple request, and 2) would sell out her own employee in front of guests! So much disrespect for me and for that young girl. I will never support that kind...

The service is awful! i've ordered the same thing multiple times and the price is different every time. If you want to add cilantro to your taco's that will be an extra charge even though i ordered no pico because its "more effort to scoop cilantro than pico onto taco's." They will nickel and dime you for everything and heaven forbid you are ordering it to go, they will not give you the salsa even though if you ate there you in theory can have as much salsa as you want. I will no longer be going back because the nickel and dime attitude plus that of the people who work there are unpleasant. I can go to la fiesta 4 blocks away order basically the same exact thing for less money and have as much salsa as i want!!!! they just don't care about pleasing...
