Del Taco — Restaurant in Sacramento

I frequent this Del Taco because I go to the Walmart that is in the same shopping plaza. Mostly every visit has been decent . The food is hot and they get it out pretty quickly. Today tho Sandy the person working the drive thru was less than professional with her execution of customer service. She became irritated with me after she had to inform me that she couldn't hear what I was ordering more than once. The second time she said she couldn't hear me I raised my voice to a yell to ensure that I would be heard. I believe my yelling triggered her irritation with me and the rest of my order became a hassle to her. She was short , rude and cut me off before I was done ordering. It wasn't just me being dramatic because after I pulled away she greeted the patron behind me with a tone sweet as pie. I was thinking maybe her headset needed turned up to hear people better. I could hear her plenty good so no problem there. I don't know how those things work but what I do know is I left there feeling like I did something wrong and she made me feel that way because of the way she talked to me during my order. So SANDY and the other older lady you work with(she thought Sandy's rudeness was funny) you could benefit with some interpersonal communication courses. You make your store look bad. Really , you got irritated because you couldn't hear me on equipment that I had zero control of. Do better. As usual the food...

I want to give this place the benefit of the doubt because it was clear, the conversations between the manager and the employees that they were short staffed and there was a new guy on. But!! I still believe in excellent customer service no matter what is going on. We walked up to the register to order we sat there no joke 5 minute not a single employee said a word to us. At this point we were they only people in the restaurant so I'm assuming drive thru had some customers. But still. They looked at us, all three employees but not a word. Then the young lady walks up to take our order on her phone! She was short with her answers, seemed annoyed and not very helpful. So I ordered my one item. Then my sister ordered her two tacos and we waited. And waited. We learned so much of the situation because we could here everything that was going on as they yelled back and forth. And they joked rudely with the manager as she was off duty on her phone cleaning the store talking bad about someone. It took about 15 minutes to get our food. It was a bummer for whoever owend the restaurant. The pleasntrys that were offered were a smile from the manager and when handed my food I was called sweetheart.....so I guess...

3 stars because of Ashley. New to the state and area. This location is by my house. I’ve been morning before noon and night. The manager though not rude to me did have the energy as if I wanted to complain about the white woman that assisted me. I let it slide because I wanted the helpful night employees name so I could write a review. Fast forward to today I still hadn’t made my way around to doing her review but I found myself in line with yet another employee with an attitude like the white woman I should’ve told on. These were the nachos given and I’m still in the parking lot as I write this. The staff needs to be fired except Ashley. I do this for a living. Ashley works nights because the day staff doesn’t do up to her standard work and are probably messy. I deducted 2 stars for every other staff and all 3 go to Ashley and literally no one else. I’ve been helped by a heavy set gentleman and 3 other yt woman the black woman at night has the best service and quality of food unlocked the nachos...
