In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Sacramento

Our family has been coming to this place on Truxel Road 6 to 7 days a week since June this year. It is conveniently located from my home and I like its good food and fast service. We have been using its Drive Thru service all the time since. However, I have experienced some bad experience in its Drive Thru lane several times because this place runs a one-of-a-kind dual-lane service in efforts to shorten a long single queue stretching through nearby parking spots. What happens is that order takers don't strictly follow the FCFS rule, thereby victimizing customers unknowingly. It happened three times to me thus far, and I decided to let the store manager as well as Drive-Thru customers know this unhappy happening. The first time it happened the order taker apologized to me and I decided to just let it go, but the second time I did not complain to the order taker. However, today it was a young girl who was very rude, saying "I don't make the rule" in response to my complaint: "I was ahead of that green car on the right lane". She was smiling but ignored my complaint and asked, "Are you going to order?". I don't think it was not the right attitude and strongly believe this employee needs further training as to how to deal with an angry customer to see what has made a customer mad. I'd suggest the dual lane service be abolished or else be better managed so as not to violate the FCFS rule...

Today I went through the drive through and asked for 2 doubles and drinks and an extra fries. Went home fast later saw only one fries, instead of 3. I went back and asked to be helped. Veronica, 5'5 tall women, dark complexion. Helped me with so much patience. I then realized that the orders weren't printed as COMBO, as then veronica clarified to me. So then I asked for an order and was willing to pay. But then had forgotten my wallet. As I went to the car I saw my jacket was left back at home, so i went back to the store. And told veronica that. She encouraged me and and offered me one small fries. As a thank you, and for the potential of a mistake from possible misheard. Since she also noticed that I did buy 2 drinks as like a combo. I told her I was so grateful. And would return to pay her. But she insisted. Now I have been a costumer for more then 10 years and is my choice of food anytime. Today I felt thanked for my year of service. And absolutely fell in love with her patience. I was shocked. at the amount of care and responsibility for the costumer. I was not ridiculed at all. She deserves to be noticed more for her skills in speech and conduct. I dont even know her, and yet she offered me with a humbleness, and zero frustration. Thank you again. Can never go wrong with in n out. . I like coming here when I am going to the movies. Because its quick and fast and easy and I can sneak into the theater. . This place does get busy so it does take time to get in line and wait for it either in person or drive in. Sometimes I think going in is faster when your in a hurry if there is a big line in the drive thru. . My favorite to go to is a hamburger with protein style and add extra veggies and regular onions and spread on the side. And a strawberry vanilla shake to go with it. I usually skip the fries to limit the calories. . If I'm hungry then I do double hamburger protein style extra veggies and add regular onions and animal style and a order of fries and skip the shake. . Sometimes a good snack is animal style fries if you like it intense and rich and flavorful and saucy. .
