I was so ecstatic to try this area as well as it was a winner!! Attempted it on two separate occasions, throughout the week and on the weekend break. The ambiance of this dining establishment is trendy as well as informal, where you can seat yourselves after you order at the front. Love the decor! Tiny plates I've attempted are the crab Rangoons and the spam masubis. Crab Rangoon's are good, difficult to mess up as well as come with a sweet and sour sauce. The spam masubis are respectable! Idk how they're a little additional great yet it's delicious. Attempted the Tonkotsu moderate spicy, which was tasty. I suched as the thick cuts of chasu pork, nonetheless both me and also my bf discovered pieces of the rope that they bonded it with in our soup still. I enjoy that they add fish cakes in their Tonkotsu! I love having an egg in my ramen, yet I just wanted it was a little bit more soft boiled for that gooey structure, yet I'll live lol. Brew is deep in flavor yet refined, which truly warms us up. I have actually additionally attempted their unagi rice plate, yet it was simply all right. It's a big dish of rice with carrots and also peas ahead and also only like 4 items of barbequed eel. The smoked eel was flavorful, I simply wish there was more, bc my rice to meat proportion was extremely off lol. I think for their ramen resembling $10, I assume it deserves the rate. Truly caring what I have actually attempted until now so we'll...
Read moreMy husband and kids love Ramen. Based on the 4.5 stars, we decided to drive 40 minutes to try this famous over rated Ramen place in Natomas.
At this Ramen place, you have to pay before sitting down.
We ordered Chicken soup base Ramen for the kids. The soup included grilled chicken, boiled egg, kikurage mushrooms, bamboo shoots, greens. My kids didn't like the mushrooms. They liked the broth and noodles. My daughter didn't like the boiled egg..
I ordered the seafood Ramen. It had two shrimps, 3 fish cake, boiled egg, bamboo shoots, 3 scallop, green onions, sprouts, corn, seaweed. The corns were hard and the soup was luke warm. I was hoping for hot broth. I was dissatisfied with their Ramen.
My husband got the black garlic Ramen which was $11.99. It had roasted garlic and chicken broth base. Toppings: roasted pork, bamboo shoots, green onions, fried garlic. My husband rated he's ramen 2.5. He said it lacked salt. I told him we have salt on the side so just add. I should get the sweetest wife award for offering and looking out for hubby..lol
For the appetizers, we ordered the fried octopus ball called Takoyaki. My husband thought it was OK. That's one of their popular dishes.
Koshi Ramen is located in the Walmart shopping complex on truxel. They have a shared parking lot with other business. Plenty of parking. Not sure what the situation is like on black Friday since Walmart is in the...
Read moreWhat a great experience. Jessica met us at the front counter with a great energy and made us feel very welcome. She went over the menu options and helped my son with their first ramen experience.the ramen was amazing. The edamame was terrific, the gyoza came out hot with an incredible dipping sauce.
The only downside was an angry man that came in with a visibly bad mood. He immediately spewed his negativity at Jessica when she did nothing wrong. He began swearing very loudly over a simple mistake that Jessica and crew said clearly they were happy to fix. This did little to extinguish his rage. He continued to yell profanities to both Jessica and the kitchen staff. When Jessica asked him not return, he stated he wouldn't and continued his tirade all the way out the door. Jessica and staff handled his rudeness with absolute professionalism. As a former owner of a restaurant I would have completely backed Jessica and the crews actions with this situation that the angry, rude customer escalated far past an acceptable level. After the angry man left Jessica's mood returned to the chipper helpful demeanor she had when we entered.
Well done Jessica and crew. Thanks...
