Not the same spot it used to be, but still a decent place to go.

Inconsistent. The freshness of the pizza isn't what it used to be. Flavors too. Make sure they heat it up long enough, a lot of the times the cheese will still be cold. I'm not sure what happened to this place, but it used to be the best pizza slice in town. It's not terrible though, just a shell of its former self. Still a nice place for a stuffed crust slice.

Also kind of inconsistent. Just depends who they have behind the counter when you go in. Mostly down to earth hippie types that are always fun to talk to. Sometimes ppl that look like they hate it there. Never experienced anything rude though.

I don't think it's worth the price anymore. There's other spots that represent the dollar value better. The prices aren't crazy, just not worth it in my opinion.

I try to be as fair and reasonable when it comes to reviewing businesses that support many employees that have families to feed and roofs to keep over their head. The human component is not lost on me.

Google doesn't support half stars so I round down instead of up. For example, my 4.5 star reviews are unfortunately 4 star ratings.

What do the stars mean to me?

1- Terrible

(I wouldn't recommend this place, but not going to actively stop or judge ppl from going there. Nor would I want ppl to lose their livelihood working here.)

2- Bad

(Room for improvement. Might come back in the far future.)

3- Decent

(Wasnt disappointing, nor amazed. The bag of chips in front of you that you just keep eating for no reason. Content.)

4- Good

(Will be going back. Provides something excellent somewhere. Would recommend to people.)

I ate here today with friends. It's Sat December 9th 2017 and I've never had such horrible customer service. This guy serving me had to try and intimidate me. I mean he wouldn't stop staring down when we were talking and i was simply asking about the food choices. I like to feel welcomed when i normally come here to eat. Also I asked for a ginger ale, he had the nerve to tell me in a defensive tone "what u see is what we have" not one time did he feel the need to be nice. skinny white guy named Manuel working nights I even asked him for his name and told him his customer service was bad, that he didn't make me feel welcome one bit. He had the balls to walk around the counter, walk right up to me in the customer line like as if he was going to fight me! Another scare tactic but his excuse was "he couldn't hear me". But his body language was challenging, however, and I told him again his customer service was garbage and that maybe hes not aware of how he makes his customers feel and all's he could tell me was "OK" with a stupid grin on his face. I came here to eat pizza with my friends , not to experience high tension and such. What's wrong with these guys??? Pieces is a hidden gem for sure. I was surprised how close it was to my place of work and I’ve never seen it before. Customer service was really good. There was one employee who was very intentive and happy to help. The food is amazing. The pizza is perfectly cheesy Flavorful plenty of toppings. I don’t know how it could get any better. I was really happy with the crust it seems to be semi stuffed. The ranch isn’t the “good” ranch but it’s not too bad either. It’s great that they have different flavors of ranch because the pesto ranch is a 10 out of 10. The chipotle ranch is really great with the pesto breadstick that was recommended to me by the employee and he was not wrong. It is so good with the chipotle ranch combination. I will go here when I’m in the mood for a slice of pizza at first I felt like it was a little expensive but then when you taste the quality and you see the size of the sizes it makes sense and it’s worth the money will definitely come here again.
