Sadly I had the very worst experience here. I made a take out order, they got it wrong. Would not refund me unless I brought it back in. When I did, I asked for the correct item and got a refund. They did not make the item and wanted to change me, referred me to a manager who's phone was busy and 30 minutes later agreed to comp the meal. I did not yell or make a scene even though I just got take out after 7 hours of traval. Their take out is presented in a bag with a knot in it. I just assumed they got it right. I definitely did not trust the meal they comped me. I literally asked for it to take a picture for reviews. I'm upset they make a mistake, ask me to deliver it back to them. Then offer nothing to make it right. Instead I'm referred to a manager who's line is constantly busy. They could have offered me a soda, or an egg roll and I would have gladly bought my meal and left. This has happened other places. Panda express didn't give me a refund or demand I come in. They said next time you come in take a free egg roll after finding my recite. TLDR check your take out order cause if it's wrong and you end up with Walmart macaroni salad be prepared to bring it back and don't expect any consideration for the inconvenience. I ๐ THIS I LOVE TERIYAKI. I drive๐ out of my way past less palatable teriyaki places to eat here and have been for the last 15 years or so. The menu is extensive, flexible and reasonably priced. This is a owner operator restaurant which means the guy taking your order or cooking your food is probably the owner. There is a nice couple who runs this place. The food is impeccable ๐ฃ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ฅข During the pandemic they added more drinks and snacks to go like mini-mart style. This place just keeps getting better.
At my last visit 1.8.2022 I saw a door dash delivery driver argue with the owner about not having a mask and the owner offered him one and the driver said new bro I'm good I'll just cancel the order and say you refused. We have been to several other I love teriyaki restaurants and most have been quite good. This place not so much. Their prices were higher and their portions smaller and the fact that the service was fast is the only positive. And that was because there was only 1 other customer. Usually this restaurant chain has a line and at least 15 to 20 minute wait.
