My family and I went to Rock & Brews last weekend after the Triailer Expo and Boat Show… and we had a great time! Our party consisted of my husband, myself, our twin ten year olds, and my parents. We made the very short trek over from CalExpo to the restaurant where we were promptly greeted by a hostess. They let us know that the wait would be approximately 15 minutes, which was totally fine and no surprise since it was the first nice day in a while and there were no less than 100 motorcycles in the parking lot. All of the clubs there were seated, eating, having fun and being very respectful. My husband got a few tokens for my son to use in the batting cages. We went out, he hit one round, and then our table was ready. We were seated and had drinks on the table within 10 minutes. Our order was taken, an additional party of 30 arrived and was seated next to us. They seemed to be taken care of instantly. While we waited for our meals to arrive, my kids played an arcade game and we listened to music. The atmosphere is very open, yet it isn’t too noisy. The decor is very 1970’s Rock N Roll inspired, which is cool. I guess Kiss starts these restaurants, hence the cool vibe. Our meals were delivered after about 35 minutes by one of the kitchen staff. Everything was delicious, hot and made to our specifications. Our server checked on us, then got our tab as we requested about 20 minutes later. Overall, the experience was very pleasant. This restaurant runs like a well oiled machine. It is relatively clean, fun because of all of the entertainment, and has shockingly good food. Favorite orders were the spicy burger (sauce on the side!) and the giant pretzel. The bill amount was reasonable, and they didn’t add automatic gratuity for a party of six. (You never know these days, the number gets lower and lower, I swear.) Rock & Brews is definitely worth a try if you are at an event at CalExpo, if there is an act you want to see, or you are having a large event! I don’t know that I would drive the half hour just for lunch— but the full family entertainment is awesome and convenient!

The calamari was delicious! The BLTA was ok. It was weird having it on a roll instead of bread. The fries are not my favorite, I gave them to my boyfriend. He liked his French dip sando and mozzarella planks. The raspberry chocolate donuts were delicious! So the food is hit and miss, it appears. The vibe inside is great with all of the rock and roll decor. Staff is EXCEEDINGLY attentive and kind - they are clearly trying to keep people coming back. We mini golfed after dinner, and that was fun. It's a cute course, but it's very worn down - it doesn't look like it has been restored from sitting vacant for so long after Paradise Island closed. Several broken fiberglass structures could be a safety hazard for kids. Only one water feature was on near the batting cages/restaurant entrance, and the vibe was great next to the water. However, the whole of the mini golf course had empty water features, which seriously took away from the vibe. The string lights helped to distract from the empty waterways, but it would have been so awesome if the water features were running... We didn't do the batting cages this time, but last time, they were terrible. The machines are junk - very inconsistent, and most balls weren't pitched over the safety line. And the bats rubbed my finger raw because they needed new grip tape. I still have $20 worth of tokens that we didn't use because my finger got torn up and the machines sucked so badly. Cal Expo really should move the entrance over to the light to make the location more accessible. It's very weird that there's only a right hand turn into the parking lot, making it a pain to access via u-turn at Expo and Challenge Road, unless you were already heading east on Expo from I-80. It would be so much busier if people could turn left directly from Ethan or come straight across the street from the theater complex. It's a bizarre entrance situation. I want Rock and Brews to stay. I want it to flourish. It's a cool spot with a lot of potential! But it needs some work.

Saturday, 12/11/2021 - Decided to try Rock & Brew restaurant. This is right by Cal Expo off of Exposition, on the other side of Arden. We saw a family leaving the restaurant and asked for their opinion. They told us "Order quick! Service is slow. " We took their advice. Upon arrival: Pros: 1) lots of parking! 2) menu is posted outside for a quick glance. 3) very roomy inside restaurant. There was a bar area, lots 4) lots of seatings. 5) Tables, chairs, silverwares, cups, plates are all clean. 6) water tasted good. No metal taste. 7) waitress was very nice. She got our drinks right away and we ordered our foods right away. 8) Burger ($12.95) was ok. It was a $1.99 extra for a slice of cheese and a $1.99 extra for mushrooms on the burger. There wasn't much flavor to the burger. Kid's Mac and Cheese ($7.95-ish) was ok. Fries were good. Sweet potatoes fries were $5.99. 9) love that they had salt, black pepper, and ketchup on the table. We didn't have to ask for it. 10) kids menu had lots of games to keep little ones busy for a bit. 11) they have a stage that they have karaoke on one week night and 2 week nights they have local bands go and play there they said. Tuesday to Thursday nights. It's all free. 12) you can pay to mini golf or batting cage. See photo for pricing. 13) lots of stalls in women's bathroom. Very clean and smelled clean. 14) happy hour Mon-Friday, 3-5pm Cons: 1) service was a little slow. We had to flag our waitress down to ask for our tab and it her quit a while to return with our change. Conclusion: Not too bad. It's an okay restaurant. May have to try on a week night to check out their concerts and try other dishes.

Rock & Brews in Sacramento delivers an extraordinary experience that left us completely awestruck! This remarkable establishment surpassed all our expectations and deserves the highest praise possible.

Let's start with the food, because it is absolutely divine. The culinary creations are prepared with meticulous care, resulting in flavors that are nothing short of extraordinary. From the tantalizing Rockin' Wings to the mouthwatering BBQ Ribs, every dish is a masterpiece. The menu offers a wide array of options, ensuring that there's something to satisfy every palate.

Of course, no exceptional dining experience is complete without a great selection of drinks, and the team definitely delivers in this department as well. Their drink menu is impressive, featuring a diverse range of craft beers, signature cocktails, and exquisite wines. The double watermelon margarita with jalapeños was on point! The bartenders are not only skilled but also friendly, ensuring that each drink is expertly crafted to perfection.

Beyond the incredible food and drinks, they also offer an experience like no other with its batting cages. The opportunity to enjoy a delectable meal and then step into the cages for some batting practice adds an exciting element of fun to your visit. It's the perfect place to indulge in great food, drinks, and some friendly competition with friends and family. They also offer mini-golf, live music, karaoke, and dancing on certain days of the week.

The customer service is top-notch! The staff members are warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring that every guest has an exceptional time. Their professionalism and friendliness create an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

The ambiance perfectly complements the overall experience. The music selection, ranging from classic rock anthems to contemporary hits, sets the stage for a lively and energetic atmosphere. The rock-inspired decor and vintage concert posters add an authentic touch that immerses you in the vibrant world of rock culture.

In summary, Rock and Brews is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a five-star experience. From the outstanding food and drinks to the added excitement of the batting cages, every aspect of this establishment is meticulously crafted to provide an unforgettable time. The exceptional customer service, rocking music, and captivating ambiance complete the package, ensuring that your visit will be nothing short...

Honestly from the reviews I expect more. I also expected more for a Saturday and was very disappointed. Came here with 2 friends of mine and we all had issues. Surprisingly they were not busy for a Saturday, but maybe that’s for a reason. It took maybe 30 minutes just to get asked what we wanted to drink, mind you it wasn’t busy at all. We ordered our food at the same time as well. 20-30 minutes later we still had no drinks, and we didn’t order anything special so had to wave someone down to ask them for the drinks. While here the band was doing sound checked, and mind you it’s not a super big room so I don’t know why they felt the need to mic the drums so heavily. Band is loud enough to be considered a concert, which isn’t great when you’re there to eat with a little music on the side. Felt like I was at the boardwalk or Ace of Spades.

Anyways to start on the food. Appetizers finally came but disappointed. The mozzarella stick things came out burnt and tasting like old oil. Like they cooked them and then forgot about them and had to dip them back in the oil a few times to reheat. The calamari had that old oil after taste. Both items were tasted but not actually eaten fully. While waiting for our entrees, multiple left due to not being check on and how loud the band was/ all the feedback during sound check. Our main food came and also kinda disappointed. I ordered a burger with cheddar and no tomatoes, I got a burger with no condiments and no cheese. It wasn’t awful but since they made it well done it was just dry. My friend got a cheese pizza that was really oily, was falling apart and had very minimal crust to hold the insane amount of cheese. There’s no such thing as too much cheese but with very light sauce and hardly any crust it was too much. Other friend ordered the French dip and said it was just okay, didn’t really taste like an actual French dip. She ate about half but wouldn’t order it again. At the end non of us took our left overs home. No one came to ask if we needed refills or how everything was until the end when the managers were trying to save the day and keep people from leaving.

All in all definitely wouldn’t go back to eat there, and...
