★★★★★ Five Stars – An Absolute Gem in Sacramento! Thai Spoon is hands down one of the best Thai restaurants in Sacramento — an absolute must-visit! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavor and made with care. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced, the green curry rich and aromatic, and the mango sticky rice? Simply unforgettable! You can taste the quality in every bite. The service is exceptional — friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, they make sure you’re well taken care of. Honorary mention to the entire staff and kitchen — you’re doing an extraordinary job! If you live in Sacramento and haven’t been to Thai Spoon yet, you’re seriously missing out. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food, great service, and a five-star dining experience. This place deserves all the praise!

An unassuming Thai restaurant that serves delicious food. I cannot stress how good their drunken noodles and fried tofu are. Would also highly recommend their coconut ice cream that is so rich in flavor. Their fried bananas though are on the more expensive side and we didn't like the way they were fried. Their Tom Kha soup is well worth it and a small one is enough to satisfy 3 people. Their Pad Thai is a little on the sweeter side and watch out for spice. While all "spicy" items are marked with a double asterisk, there are varying levels, so make sure to ask before ordering, especially their Som Tum salad. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, providing lots of information. The restaurant layout is perfect for larger groups (6+). Food is prepared rapidly and since it's in a mall, there's plenty of parking.

My love for Thai food brought me to this quaint little restaurant with my family for lunch. The place had a very casual laid back environment and our server, Tiffany, was really sweet and friendly. We ordered the vegan Summer roll, vegan Drunken noodles, Garlic tofu Fried rice, and the Thai Green Curry, also vegan. The food came out quick and it was delicious. Everything tasted great, especially the drunken noodles stole the show. The ingredients were so fresh and thats what I love about thai food is you get so many vegan options🌱 Really happy with the visit and will recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for healthy and vegan asian options in the city.

Mediocre food, but worst of all horrible customer service, and a really bad/cheap owner. I ordered Pad Thai with chicken to go. Took it back to the office, opened the box, and there may as well been NO Chicken as I couldn't find any hidden anywhere. I called Thai Spoon and let them know their mistake. I spoke to someone that said they'd remake the dish with extra chicken next time I drop by, and they said they wrote my name down. A couple weeks later I drop in to make good on their promise. They said they'd have to check with the manager. So fine, I wait for them to call. They said they can't do anything unless I had my receipt. Fine, I reproduce the receipt I kept from that day I ordered the food. Then they tell me the receipt is too old (3 weeks old) and they have no record of my name being written down. I politely let the supervisor on shift that I would never be coming back to eat there.

I'd rate this place negative 5 stars, but the lowest I can rate is 1. Everyone do yourself a favor and avoid this shady Thai restaurant impersonating itself as...

Unfortunately I have to come back to re-review Thai Spoon after some time of not having it. There must have been a manager/ chef change. Portions have been shrunk to half of what they used to be.. This wouldn't be too bad if the quality of the food hadn't dropped as well.. the BBQ beef plate was more of a plate of steamed vegetables with a side of thin sliced poorly seasoned beef. Also the sauce that came with the dish was not palpable. Then there's the issue of the sticky rice. Back then it used to come in a bamboo bowl used used steam the rice. Now they come in saran wrap which I'm assuming is pre-portioned and saved for when customers order them. This led to the center feeling very hard. The fried calimari was still top notch however.. This WAS the best Thai food hands down. The quality WAS amazing. And the quantity WAS amazing. We USED to come to this thai place countless times and we were never disappointed until now. I don't know what happened in the last 4 months but we will likely find a new Thai spot as this one isn't living up to the...

Delicious curries make for a wonderful and casual lunch any day of the week. One of the things I love most about Thai Spoon is the green curry chicken - at this point it's pretty much the only thing I order. The curry is full of flavour, and even when ordered mild you're going to get a strong and delightful kick of spice. The lunch portions are plentiful, served either with steamed rice or rice noodles. You'll also get your choice of a salad or soup as appetizer. Daily curry specials are nice if you want to change things up - and you'll find pumpkin curries, mango curries, and all sorts of things to whet your palate. Pad Thai is another great choice - and the portion size is definitely good for taking some home with you - even if you order the lunch portion. I recommend arriving between 11:30am-12pm before it gets too busy on a work day. You can sit inside or outside if it's nice weather. The outdoor seating isn't extensive, but it's nice to sit outside when it's nice. The service is fast, and very consistent from visit to...
