We ordered Nothing Bundt Cakes (36 bundtinis) for my auntās 101 yr. old birthday š. The problem was not the taste or decoration, it was how they were packaged. The were put in boxes with shallow cup holders and then put into big blue bags. The bundtinis were sealed with tape and in the bags when they came out from the back. I didnāt think to check them. We put them in the car on the backseat, secure and never moved until we got to the facility approximately 5 miles away. We carefully took them inside always right side up. Two of the three boxes were topsy turvy. This was because you cannot put the bundtinis in the bag without turning the boxes on their sides therefore turning them upside down. All the bundtinis in those two boxes were damaged. I called back (late afternoon) and a very inexperienced staff member said she was sure they were ok - I should not have had a problem with them. I went to the store on Monday morning, explained the situation and showed the pictures and a nice staff person gave me a refund for two of the three dozen I ordered, minus the little decorations on top. Folks, make sure you check the boxes, particularly of the small bundtinis before you leave the store. It was a hassle and they did not look very good, but it didnāt stop my 101 y.o. She was informed by an employee that there were no vanilla cakes left and that it would take 45 minutes to make one. Despite her willingness to wait and return later, she was told she had to pay upfront. When she tried to pay with a $100 bill, the employee said they didn't have change and refused to start making the cake until payment was made.
I arrived 15 minutes later and was met with no greeting and a long line of customers waiting to pick up their orders, which took an additional 15 minutes. By then, there were still no vanilla cakes available, so I opted for a lemon cake instead. When I explained the decorations I wanted, the employee took the cake and went to the back without any communication. It wasn't clear whether I needed to wait or come back later, but after 5 minutes, the decorated cake was handed to me.
Overall, this store has significant room for improvement in customer service and communication. The limited variety of pre-made cakes and the unhelpful attitude of the staff were disappointing. I will likely not be returning to...

Tried to be extra nice thinking that would change their attitude but they just became fake. As a person of color you just never know if itās just the personality of the person or because they carry racism. Thatās why itās important when you work with the public to always be polite to EVERYONE. I always speak up for impolite service/leave a review.
