Tea 18 — Restaurant in Sacramento

Somehow North Natomas has half a dozen boba spots within a 2-3 mile radius but Tea 18 holds the top spot above them all to me. Super friendly and hard-working staff. Great selection of drinks and toppings. Easily accessible location (although the parking in that whole plaza is tight, but not Tea 18's fault), but after trying every boba place in town and beyond (South Sac, Elk Grove, Roseville, etc) Tea 18 has the best tasting tea and the most consistent boba. That might not seem like a big deal but I've found that a lot of other places make their tea different depending on who makes it and often "run out" of boba way before closing or have inconsistent texture, again depending on who makes it. My order is the Large Oolong Milk Tea, light ice, no sugar with boba. Some of the staff already know that the moment I walk in. =)

My kids love the Oreo Ice Blended with boba and every now and then we'll get the Thai Tea with boba. As I said, lots of other drink and topping options but these are our tried and true combos. REALLY wish they had food like popcorn chicken, fries, tofu, etc. but not gonna knock them because what they do have, they do...

First time in this place since I love teas. The cashier was very nice and offered me different options for tea. The problem I had… was the girl that made my tea yesterday. Just few safety concerns. I’m not being a Karen or anything as my request would probably agree with some -Please tell costumer if you will over fill a hot beverage especially. I was careful goin in my car with a cup of tea right as soon I sat it down the cover flipped annd saw my tea was overfilled and no matter how careful I was half of the hot tea just spilled on my self and car seat . Thank goodness it wasn’t that “hot”. Or just don’t overfill a hot beverage period . was wondering why they’re allowed to work especially with beverage/handling food with a super long nail/acrylic , holding the cup , stirring etc .preparing food . It was. Pain just looking at her stirring the beverage, struggling to hold it 😩 Anyway those were my 2 cents. Was I upset that I spilled my hot tea ? We have NEVER had such feeling of disrespect in the entire time living here in N Natomas as we have received today at Tea 18!! Not only did we call in an order to be picked up told there was a 15 min wait, waited in our car because I personally can not wear a mask for long periods of time due to a health condition. Walk in 15 minutes later to find out the order was not even placed was told by some kid to leave because had no mask BUT in fact had a cloth covering just as the posted sign says is allowed and was told to wait outside. This would have not been an issue had my order I phoned in would have been placed and ready as advised over the phone!! I then called to speak to the owners of supervisors and was told by another kid that they just had a baby and wasn’t in much anymore so I started to explain the situation and the person hung up on me!!
