SO incredibly disappointed in this place!! For starters I paid $8.99 for a medium sandwich that came with only 2 slices of meat and some cheese...no toppings and basically no meat. When my food came out there was a hair sticking out of the end of my sandwich before I even took a bite...that sucked...THEN I went to the bathroom which was SO dirty, but I needed to go so I just dealt with it. They were out of seat liners in the bathroom, but again i dealt with it, only to finish going potty and realizing there also wasn’t any toilet paper. I politely let the employees know that the bathroom was out of toilet paper and toilet guards. They acknowledged and thanked me for letting them know. About 40 mins later my sister and niece went to the restroom and unfortunately they were left with no toiletries as well, because the staff clearly hadn’t bothered to refill it. My sister then goes to let them know that everything was still out in the bathroom...the employees just stared at her and started arguing back and forth with eachother about who was going to go do it. Let me just add that it was not busy and there was zero reason why nobody could’ve taken care of it....also it is so rude and unprofessional to argue about it in front of customers. The ridiculous price of the sandwich paired with the lack of meat or condiments AND the hair made this place one of the most disappointing places I’ve had the misfortune of eating at. The customer service and condition of the bathroom just left me with such a bad experience. I’m embarrassed for whoever is the manager of that location! The atmosphere, rude staff, disgusting...
Read moreI mean it was fine. But I didn’t go to Firehouse Subs for many years. Like 2009 or 2010. And it just wasn’t quite what I remembered. Yeah the Engineer sub was pretty good, but it wasn’t really all that flavorful - like kinda bland ingredients I could get at a supermarket. I got a meal and it was nearly $16. When I opened the bag of chips it was like a quarter full. Sure the “medium” drink was enormous, like a jumbo jet full of soda. And the drink options go for days. So that was cool. But I also know that restaurants pay nearly nothing for those cups and the soda. And all the old hot sauces I used to love just weren’t available. I just felt like the whole thing was an explosion of inflation. Reduced quality (flavor), reduced proportions (chips), increased cost, and reduced options (hot sauce). Except the drinks, but that’s cause it’s already a price markup. I don’t mean to complain. It just felt like the decline of America hit me really hard to eat at Firehouse for the first time after ten years. Made me sad. I see that some big corporate group acquired Firehouse in November 2021 for $1 billion. Corporate raiders killed the...
Read moreThe New York Steamer Sandwich was probably the saddest sandwich that a 5 year old can make at home. Let start how dead the place was. The bathroom was so dirty when you flushed the toliet that the tank overflowed with water. The floor was covered in toliet water. The paper towel dispenser was open & was not properly put in. Soap Dispenser was broken with no soap in the bathroom.
Sandwich wasn't toasted long enough. It had more mayo than meats & cheese in it. They used the most lowest quality pastrami (BaR S) Barely tasted any cornbeef. The terrible cut on deli meat look like a 5 years old did it. Left all the chewy, fatty, unedible part of the meat. They can't even fill the large piece of bread with meat. The two pickles tasted better than this sandwich. It was not worth 17 dollars for this low quality, barely any meats/cheese in it. Subway sandwich probably tastes better than this place or just go to...
