Brewery review only. Stopped by to taste some of the beers from the brewery part. First off, the building is made up of three different bars and to get to the brewery involves either going through one of the outside bars (neither of which pours the breweries beers!) THEN cutting through the pool or skirting around the outside of the pool table area and finding the small alley way that leads to the brewery door towards the back. Odd at best. After getting there you will see a chalk board with about 10 different beers listed and some guest taps. The friendly bartender poured me several of their beers, some German styles that were off and not crisp as the style calls for (guessing incorrect grains used). I caught a Brett character in a couple of the beers too that was off putting and unexpected. I got the Daitil Brown Ale which I felt needed more caramel taste to it and a bit more heat. It was fairly under carbonated and the plastic glassware was dirty. Overall this place is a pass for me.

Pulled into St. Augustine Beach late and grabbed a bite to eat from a friend’s recommendation for a local non chain eatery. We did not have the energy to tour the brewery. Woody was our bartender-server and provided excellent service. There’s a pool in the center which I thought was pretty cool. The food was good and I tried a light beer and it was tasty! The mozzarella stick had the longest pull I ever seen. My bacon cheddar burger was on Texas toast, great last second change.

Great place. Simple food but done well above standard. Excellent beer! Try them all. Short stay in the area but had come back. Opie, our server, was the nicest guy. Stop by here for a good burger, shrimp, pork or beef. All good. Zoom in on the pic. Great experience. I forgot to take a picture of the food because it looked too good to pause! Added a photo of Jack 1 year later!

I like popping in here for lunch. Best to get there for early lunch or late lunch. Quite a few locals hang out at the open bar and start their evening early. I have been here for lunch several times and have not had a bad meal yet. The parking is definitely a problem though. Not enough spots so if you can get one close you are lucky. They have an outdoor seating area. Some of the picnic tables are pretty sketch and need repair or replacement (easy fix). Being walking distance from the beach (probably 200 yards), the elements take their toll on everything in the area. They have a game room (enclosed) with pool tables and a bar. They also have a pool which is for patron use and it's not readily visible to sidewalk traffic. The pool area looks very well kept. No food or drinks allowed in the pool area. They are also opening up a Jack's Brewery right next door. It's not a bar, but they will have a small tasting section. Jack's will be brewing his own product soon!

Definitely a place to try out if you are at the beach. If you are parking on the actual beach, you might want to consider parking near the entrance and if you are hungry at lunch or dinner, take a little jaunt over to Jack's for a...

If you enjoy sharing your meal with flies then this is the place for you! There were only 6 tables and only 2 of them were out of the rain. If you enjoy walking up to a restaurant and feeling lost as to where to go then this is right up your alley. If the word "bbq" was not under the word "Jacks" on the tiny decal on the door then you would never have known they serve food. Also if strange drunk dudes walking up to your family making conversation is your idea of a good time then this is the dive spot for you. If you have a family...your money is better spent somewhere else. Almost everything on the menu is over $10 and the food leaves much to be desired. Also there was an employee wearing a crude t-shirt that he probably got from Spencer's Gifts. The waitress was nice and that is the ONLY thing that...
