36 Granada — Restaurant in Saint Augustine

My friend treated me to birthday lunch at 36 Granada’s “The French Pantry” yesterday, in St. Augustine Florida, where I have lived many years, and been to many restaurants. This one is a must! The space is modern and beautiful yet feels comfortably cozy and very clean. We were greeted and seated by Linda, a professional, and so very kind, warm and cheerful. Skephanie (yes, with a k), was our server, also friendly (fun) and helpful. Linda and Skephanie made this my best restaurant birthday experience, ever…at 78 that’s saying a lot. They both made me feel special. The food is amazing. My friend had the Hot Italian and I had the Reuben. I thought both were successful creative interpretations of familiar fare. Prices are reasonable, and portions are large, presentation elegant so quality is Michelin star in my humble opinion. Do not miss the pastry counter, the Wedding Cake was top quality. Thank you , Linda!!!

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting St. Augustine, thinking it was a French cafe. Turns out it’s so much more! A lovely multi-cultural restaurant with an unexpected speak easy and for those interested, private cooking classes. We can also say the food from lunch to dessert with coffee was outstanding, as was the service. The host who seated us was incredibly sweet and made us feel so welcome. Our server Felicia was personable and really overflowed with pride over what this establishment has to offer. She showed us around and made great recommendations. It’s such a positive experience when someone takes care the way she did. Thank you for making our last day in St. Augustine very memorable. Highly recommend ....

Great new Saint Augustine restaurant with an incredible staff, great decor and food that should be Michelin rated. Located in a historic building near downtown with exposed brick, old rafters and a modern twist every where else. Great bar with a cubby that has pastries and cakes for sale as well. I had the Kobe burger with so many unique toppings it nearly exploded my taste buds! The restaurant and staff were beyond any expectation I had for drinks and dinner! Definitely a Must Do if and when you come to Saint Augustine! Highly recommended! Double Florida...
