Verdict: Guilty of fraud, Defamation, false pretenses , harassment, intimidation, larceny and a bunch more I am to lazy to type. The most heinous of crimes though had to be my devastating disappointment, betrayal, embarrassment, and despair. Then a glimmer of hope that thank the fast food lords there is other jack in the boxes. My recommendation is a resounding N0! (for that location any way). however if you find yourself in a bind tread carefully and wish that the fast food lords are watching over you. I have written a detailed report that re-accounts the day jack landed on the candle stick.
As a fast-food connoisseur I have always liked jack in the box unfortunately the closest one to many is about nearly 2hrs away. Anyways back to the riveting story. We were on our way back from an excellent vacation and had been driving for a good 7 hours. People were getting hangry the kids were tired so any way to my amazement there in the distance a glorious jack in the box. I convinced them a glorious meal awaited. When we arrived we went through the drive with only three people and tired children we assumed that was out best bet. So 10 minuets pass still no movement. I swept aside and assumed he had a large order another 5 min pass. The guy gets his order exchanges some words with cashier buzzes off. Then it is our turn now I won't lie we had a 9 meals including the kids. Next person pulls up gets her meal in 10 minuets. Next person similar to the first minuet about a 15 minuet way. Understandable he ordered several orders. I guess maybe they are understaffed. 20 minuets pass by while we are waiting at the window finally the guy says your guys meals are done but we don't have any cup holders so he goes to ask his boss what to do. a shift manager comes by A little flustered tells us they are sill working on it . he comes back pretty quickly and ask if we wouldn't mind putting them in a box. We say yes because at this point both parties were frustrated.and didn't care .My frustration boiled over after he came back telling us they were still finding a box so I asked a too much hostility in my voice "how is it possible they didn't have cup holders? a low point in this tale, I had to give them an extra point for showing constraint and not punch my jerk face. so after we get several boxes to head back to the hotel. come to find out they gave us out of the nine.
We called at least four times two of them the first call "got dropped" apparently. We finally got a hold of the shift manager and he said that we would need to talk to the actual manager the next day he said to just eat the food. Which unfortunately was bad the fries had gotten cold and stale .The burger was a burger just cold so meh. The next day is what me made this essay of an review. because of how shocked and angry it made me. When we went to speak to the manager he was already in a hostile and defensive. He looked at us with such disgust and contempt it was palpable. When we first started talking to him he barley talked and it was all excuses or were not note worthy. So as these things often do it started escalating we tried explaining to him that the main concern was how bad are ordered was messed up and how the service was lacking and we wanted are money back. He then started claiming we were just petty thieves looking to get a free meal how if he could he would call the cops. She was saying this to My mother, sister and myself. I had enough of accusations and started blaming him for running an incompetent business cause just how he acted around a conversation involving customers who came to discuss a mistake they had made in a civil manner and to start making crazy accusations was uncalled for and unprofessional I don't have the mind set that the customer is right. The way he treated us was disgusting and appalling. I won't say his name but hopefully this is more of an isolated incident. I still enjoy jack in the box I just won't to that...
Read moreI ordered a double buttery jack, combo, paid for extra bacon and 3 kinds of cheese, read it back twice, once over the mic, another time at the window, they confirmed, drove off, back to work, of course they gave me the wrong burger, some lettuce, mayo and tomato, no bacon, one kind of cheese only.
The worst part of the service was I was already in line for 15 minutes, plus when trying to call after to get a refund a fix to my order I called more than 12 times, no answer, no voice mail, just a beep once every 5 calls, and it would hang up while trying to leave a message.
Finally on call 16 I got a hold of Wendy who admitted they were ignoring calls because they were short handed, I explained sure hope you all never have someone try to call in an emergency or to notify you of an emergency of some sort.
Wendy noted i'd need to call back tomorrow to speak to Jorge the manager to get things fixed.
To your District Manager, this is the Manager and DM's responsibility to make sure your busy hours are covered, and filled with backups, as well as the staff is trained on how to politely, answer calls, to tell customers there will be a short wait, to always answer a phone when it rings, and to empower your shift leaders to deal with situations like this so customers like myself don't have the burden put back onto them to fix a situation not caused by them.
Care more about quality of service than making a $.
Thank you Wendy for Trying I don't blame you. Jack pull your head out of your box... and please don't use covid as an excuse...
Read moreWhere to start? This place was one of the most poorly managed places I've ever seen. First off, the restaurant was dirty and fly-infested, so not a great first impression. We placed our order, but the cashier got it wrong and didn't give us combos. So rather than scratch it and try again which would add $5, she just added 5 drinks and 5 fries which costed $20. She swiped the card before approving with us, so she had to ask a manager what to do. The manager hid in the kitchen and wouldn't help us resolve the issue, and the cashier just wasn't getting it. Finally we got our (incorrect) refund, and sat down. When our food was ready, we asked for sauces, at which point the worker gave us a couple of the wrong sauces while glaring at us. Then as we were finishing our meal, a worker comes to our table and starts moving chairs to close that section, then loomed over us until we were uncomfortable enough to leave. Absolutely unbelievably horrific experience, despite us being so nice and patient with them. Coming from the food industry I know how hard that work is and I always treat workers with respect and patience, but this was by far one of the worst establishments I've ever seen. Avoid this location...
