We love ordering from Panera. The food is great and the turn around time when placing orders is rather fast. However, this last time that we made a large group order for a rapid pick up, I had to return to notify them that there was a missing meal . The front desk associate Kari had asked me to provide a receipt, so I proceeded to show her the receipt that I received on my email on my phone and then she said no the receipt thatās on the bag, I told her I can ask one of my staff members to take a photo of it and send it via text, she than responded and said āno I need the actual copy of itā. I had to return to my workplace to retrieve the receipt, and returned to Panera, once she saw me she told another staff member at Panera that I needed help. I told the staff member that I had a missing meal and she brought it out without a problem. In the end the physical receipt was never taken from me or looked at upon my return. Given the fact that itās a rush due to lunch, I feel like this was very poorly handled by Kari at the front and it shouldāve been handled differently, especially after not even requiring the physical receipt. It was about an hour before close, and a male employee was in the women's bathroom cleaning. The door was propped open with the trash can so we walked in and asked if we could use the bathroom, his response to our request was a big, bold "Son of a B*tch" and threw the trash can back in its place so the door would close. He perched himself on a chair immediately outside the door, so when we walked out, his angry grimace and grumbling was right there to greet us. He proceeded to throw chairs and tables around the back as we ate. Another employee said she would notify the manager, who, when we approached him at the very end, could hardly muster up an apology and made excuse after excuse. We didn't know it was a horrible unsanitary affront to lay a changing pad in the booth and change newborns diaper, while blocking her from view, to avoid going in their dirty unkempt bathroom to use a changing table. In all honesty had no idea this was a public sin. Some other customer ratted on us as if we had laid a naked baby on the seat. Manager publicly crucified us in a loud voice while other customers looked on and let us know how they would have to "sanitize the entire area" and to please let them know when we were leaving so they could do said quarantine.
