THIS PLACE CAME OUT OF NOWHERE TO TAKE MY PERSONAL BEST BURGER TITLE. Me, the wife and kids come in, fun live music guy strumming and singing at the perfect volume to enjoy the tunes but still get to chat with my family, I ordered a burger that was on tostones and served with yucca fries, that alone was going to sell me, my wife got sliders, the kids got sliders. The stage is set. This place is a corner pub in a publix shopping center, it's nice but nothing you're going to be blown away by. We are expecting good, solid food. The servers were upbeat and happy to help, there was a few people ready to eat. But then our food came out and the bites began and all of us. ALL OF US. Stopped and stared. This beef quality is through the roof. Like I'm wondering if they ship that meat in from Texas or something. Maybe Brazil. Maybe Japan. It was unbelievable - we took second bites not willing to accept the reality of the first. And they were as good. My wife and I have a running burger index, price to quality. She's a burger pro. She looks at me with stars in her eyes and proclaims this to be the best burger in years. I say again, this random pick I saw after grabbing supplies from Publix and CVS came from nowhere to top our burger...
Read moreI honestly never really leave a review on an experience unless it’s truly bad. We were greeted immediately and told to seat wherever. We got our drinks and that was okay. They took our order as normal. We waited 40 minutes for our food, with it not being busy in the restaurant. I asked for no onion, and to add a fried egg, and got onion on my burger, and NO egg.. I also asked for medium, and it was cooked well done. We also ordered a Cuban with fries, which came out ice cold to the touch. The server said that “I can’t take off the Cuban but I can remake the fries.” And we just said “no thanks, just take it off.” She said “Well I can’t take it off.” She ended up bringing the bill, with the Cuban still on it. I told her that we are not paying for something we did not eat, and the food was cold. Again, she said “I can’t take it off since we don’t have a manager.” And I told her, “Well I’m not paying for it since it was cold.” She stated “well I will just pay for it out of my own pocket since I can’t take it off.” Which is something I’ve never heard of, not being able to take off a food item off a bill. We can definitely say we will NOT be...
Read more7 dirty tables that need to be bussed when we came in and only 8 people “dining” at 6pm most of which were staring at plates of food they barley touched. Despite this, we made the decision to stay and that I (Dad), would take the blame and be the blunt of family stories on this topic. Service is SLOW, mainly because there is only one person working the bar and dining room. And when I say slow, I mean almost non existent service because she is over whelmed. Food comes, mine is ok. Wife asked for mayo and was told that it would be awhile, and by awhile, they meant never. At the same time I asked for another Yuengling and it was obviously coming with the mayo. The wife ate half of her burger, daughter ate maybe two bites (both didn’t care for the amount of seasoning) and the other daughter said the honey mustard was way too mustardy🤣. They need people! A bar tender and table busser for sure. Maybe if the service was better, it would be busier. But for us, it a no go...
