IHOP — Restaurant in Saint Pete Beach

Was at this Ihop today about 2pm. Really one of the few places to get bkf this time of day. Waitress was polite,nice but Evidently having to put up lot from the cooks: one shorter,curley locks,seemed nice but could not believe tall skinny with short hair one was smoking during cooking plus on phone half the time while the shorter did work. Besides he came around in front of cooking space walking & talking like he run the place wanting everyone to see him. Our waitress placed another order b 4 we left, the cook missed the order of fries with order. He told waitress she did not order. She replied you need to look at order placed because the shorter cook said fry order was not placed but she showed him it was. He made sly remark to the shorter cook, l cannot listen to you any more since waitress told him to ck order placed. In my opinion the cook was harassing anyone who disputed whatever he said. Felt sorry for waitress. This needs to be followed up on his smoking & on phone...

We were staying off the beach with family this past weekend and our kids requested ihop. We placed a to go order and walked over to pick it up. We were met with the two most disgruntled employees ever. Apparently they were out of a lot of items that we paid for, so they just didn’t give it to us, or substituted without asking. They loudly discussed how they weren’t going to give us anything because they were out of it, with us standing there like we didn’t exist. The food was beyond burnt, I don’t understand how eggs could be so burnt, but brown eggs were received. They didn’t have applesauce so nothing was given in its place. There weren’t chocolate pancakes so we were given buttermilk instead. When our food was handed to us, the woman told us not to order food on Sunday in the future because they are often out of things. Trust me, we won’t make the mistake of ordering food from this location ever again. Horrible customer service all...

Went yesterday for an evening meal. Waitress service was ok, She did seem to be under lots of pressure as kept making small errors such as giving us the wrong cheque however she’s only human and admitted that she usually only works mornings.

Was over charged for some of our food, 2 Pancakes should be a 1.99 side, Waitress billed them out at 1.59 each, Small difference which wasn’t worth making any fuss about. Portion of fries was far too small (I’ve had the same meal four times over the 2 weeks I have been in the USA).

But the only reason why I’m actually leaving this review is due to the absolute disgusting state of your restroom facilities!… Both male and female rooms as both me and my wife went to use the rest rooms as we was leaving and was met with the worst restroom I have ever seen, If I had seen this before ordering I would have left without ordering food.

Absolutely disgraceful!, Has actually put me off eating at any...
