my fiancee and i LOVE going to bandana’s. our food is always amazing, and they’re super quick with it. there’s never much of a wait. however we had an experience last night that made us rethink ever coming back. we had Lori as a server, and it was the worst experience i have had at bandana’s. i understand that servers tend to want to sweet talk their way into a bigger tip, but she kept badgering us like an annoying grandmother, despite the fact that we were very obvious about not wanting to have a conversation. we were trying to enjoy a meal together, which is something we don’t get to do often with my fiancées work schedule. but that part wasn’t so bad, it’s even understandable. the part that i don’t understand is how Lori thought it was okay to comment on how much/how little my fiancee and i had eaten. she did not pay for our meals. she does not know our history with food. she is a stranger with an opinion she needs to keep to herself. i am recovering from an eating disorder, and the words that came out of her mouth were extremely hurtful and triggering. because of Lori’s behavior, we will likely never come back to bandana’s.
i wasn’t going to say anything, but i’ve slept on it and it is still bothering me this much. i just want others to know, so they don’t have the same...
Read moreI’ve never been to a Bandanas before so this was my first time. I live in Seattle and came to visit a friend in this area and this is where he brought me.
Food: I ordered the 2-meat combo and chose ribs and sausage with baked potato and green beans. My friend chose ribs and turkey with fries and baked beans. The meat was amazing. All of it. The turkey was moist and the sausage perfectly spiced. The ribs had that semi crusty glazed outside and very tender meat inside. The sauce I chose was perfect. The baked potato was also perfect with just right butter and sour cream. My green beans were the only thing that wasn’t perfect. I’m not used to canned beans and that’s what I got. I wish I could have given a rating of 4.5 stars.
Service: this is what separates good experiences and bad experiences. ShiAnn was our server and was an absolute delight. Very attentive and engaging. She showed genuine concern for our well being, how we liked the food, and even went as far as to give me a tea to go with an extra cup of ice.
Atmosphere and cost: typical atmosphere for this kind of food. Comfortable. Cost was much lower than i expected as I’m from Seattle where a cup of ice will cost $10.
If I return, I’ll def come...
Read moreI ordered from this location this evening. I ordered a combo platter with three meats (sausage, pulled pork, brisket). That combo along with a quart side of mac and cheese was plenty to feed my family of two adults and three kids. Everything was fine except for the thing this restaurant is supposed to be known for. The brisket was atrocious. It was an insult to the cow that gave its life only for its meat to be abused like this. Look at that picture. It’s drier than a spill cleaned by a sham-wow. It was cooked too quickly at too high of heat. Its performance on the pull test is worse than Helen Keller’s driver’s exam. I say with all sincerity that you can get better brisket at QT down the street.
The rest of the food was fine. But a bbq place that ruins brisket? What’s the point of that? Other than the interruption how was the play,...
