This has to be the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I never leave reviews but the place here deserves nothing but my negative review. If “If I could give no stars I would” was a restaurant oh this would be it. Bad management, Bad customer service, and nasty food!! I have never been to this location before. My sister suggested it. As we were speaking with the waiter ordering our food He tells me not to choose a particular item because last time I didn’t like it. I laughed it off and said sir I’ve never been here before. He proceeds to give me another option he thinks I will like. I’m pretty open minded. So I said hey I’ll try it. He tells me if you don’t like it let me know and I’ll get you something else. ok cool. Food comes looking different than what I expected but it also didn’t taste good. It taste like shrimp in tomato sauce. I was going to not say anything and eat it anyway but my sister insisted I get something I like. We tell the waiter and he says let me get my manager. Manager never comes. Smh. Another worker comes and gets the manager. He comes to the table with an unapologetic attitude and says it’s the same as the pic and that I always send food back. Once again I have never been here sir. He huffs and says what do you want. Now I’m mad and I just look at him. My sister proceeds to order for me but I’m hot. I don’t want nothing at this point and I truly don’t trust people making my food again especially under these circumstances. I go to the manager let him know I don’t want it and why but he still has the same attitude like here’s the same black girl wasting my food. I will NEVER let someone or any establishment (etc.) insult me and then make me something to eat. You will Never ever ever ever find me at this restaurant!
An almost empty lot usually means something is wrong with the business. Unfortunately there is a lot...
Read moreI try really hard to not write negative reviews. However, this last restaurant was not a pleasant experience. We were sat at a small table for 4 with plywood for Covid barriers, well after Covid passed.2023. There were still open tables, so not totally crowded. However, a table behind us was sat 5 minutes after we were sat. They had their sever show up take drink orders and bring their drinks and take meal orders, all before our server even greeted us. Which took 19 minutes. Our chips were long gone and when I asked the hostess for napkins, she walked away from us without an acknowledgment. Yes she looked right at me, but perhaps she was embarrassed, or some other reason. I don’t know why she walked away. Our food finally started to arrive- 1 meal after a 25 minute wait from order taken and then second 12 minutes later and 3rd another 9 minutes after that, etc…Food was bland. Not horrible just bland. Before anyone says they’re just short handed, I have to say, The server who worked the table behind us appeared amazing, he was running and helping his tables and they got their food promptly, etc. a big top was even set after our food arrived and he had their drinks and food in 13 minutes after they sat down. if I had to guess, our experience had to do with our server...
Read moreI've been taking my family to different Chimi's around the area for years and have always been happy with the quality of the food at each location. The menu is the same, and the prices seem on par with each area they are located. St. Peter's did not disappoint, and although the staff wasn't as interactive as those that know us at the other locations, they were very accommodating. Having the Groupon voucher to save money on the bill is an awesome benefit and is highly recommended to use. The managers have learned how to run them, so those issues are pretty much resolved. I had run into a problem once with a Groupon in which we had to use up every single penny of the voucher... we ordered dessert and took it home. They really didn't get the concept at first. The environment is nice, clean and festive. If you come for your birthday, be prepared to wear a Sombrero while the staff sing to you, usually off key but with spirit! If you bring someone for their birthday, let the staff/waiter know you want them to sing the version "con la crema dulce" to have them put whipped cream in the birthday boy or girl's face at the end of the song! This is a Mexican tradition, but usually not done unless you ask for it! Americans can be a little...
