I reached post limit so here's continuation.. Angelos is a bar, tonys is a pixxa joint, no comparison As for the staff bar and counter staff.....they are over worked, stressed from the choas, exhausted from dealing with the drunks hour after hour. It's not that they are rude, they are extremely busy and dont have the time to joke around and chit chat with each guest one on one. It's humanly impossible. They arent ignoring you, they probably can't hear you or understand ur drunken mumble, i honestly think most the time they are reading customers lips cause the crowd is just so loud. Go in mid-late afternoon or early evening, you will see a whole different setting. You can actually hear, you don't have to wait in a long like, u can actually get table service, not see a so stressed out staff, and see they are actually nice people. They are human and can only handle so much. I personally could never deal with the obnoxious, rude, impatient, crazy crowd they deal with after dinner hours. The way i see customers disrespect them, yell at them, call the horrible names, id lose it. Oh lets not forget they also deal with people trying to skip out without paying, bar fights, drunked people falling down, customers stealing condiment jars, glasses, etc. AND you can hear the uber orders coming in non stop after hours as well, so twice the amount of food is actually being made and going out.. If there's one thing I'd change it's the kitchen. Its really needs to be bigger so they can have more people back there and more room to move. They should expand if the place next door ever becomes available or move a to a bigger location when something down there closes down. For now maybe get rid of the pool table, put a few of the booths from over by the counter over there and extended that half end of the counter out so more room behind register to fill orders and have your uber drivers in a desifnated spot by where a booth was, open that door, make it a pick up entrance, idk. Brainstorming ideas for u. I love the food and the atmosphere early and late...it's entertaining to watch the people...but not the poor staff...they really need more help. Dont let the negative comments sway you from giving them a try. But if u want a normal dinner atmosphere make it an...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place, but the pizza is disappointing. A solid 3 on a scale of 1-10. We ordered a supreme, hold the mushrooms and add olives. I also asked TWICE to the guy taking the order for extra sauce, and he assured me that he got the order correct, that it would come with extra sauce. The pizza took 30 minutes to come out. We took the pizza to go, but I wish I had looked at it right there. The toppings were sparse. Perhaps this is a example of shrinkflation. This pizza was supposed to be a supreme, and it does have a variety of ingredients. But you don't get very many. I will include a picture of the half pizza we had left over, you can see that some of the slices barely have one slice of pepperoni on each. One slice I had zero pepperoni. I couldn't find the sausage. There were barely any onions. It did have the right amount of cheese, and the right amount of what appears to be sliced meatballs. Still, that didn't make up for the lack of other ingredients. Take a look at my attached pictures. Does that look like a supreme pizza to you? As for the sauce, it was very light on sauce. Just exactly what I did not order. When you order a pizza that is edging towards $30, it really should be done correctly. It was definitely not worth the money. The only advantage, and I mean the ONLY one, is that they are open after other places close. Maybe it's just a pizza to have after everybody has a belly full of drinks and the bars are starting to close. At that time, people would not be very choosy. But for people wanting a decent pizza, it's not good. Stick to Marco's or basically...
Read moreIve been here before and cannot recall any hiccups. Before i get into it, let me just say the pizza is TO DIE FOR. This last visit just so happened to be the evening of the pride celebration. I usually call ahead because i know it takes a while to bake perfection. After 2 tries, we decided to bare it and go straight to the source. There was barely a wait but the cashier was SUPER disgruntled. She asked me what i wanted to order and naturally i answered with my response. She became irritated right off the bat and scolded me by saying before she could even do that, she needed my name. My friend and i were pretty appalled, reminded her we only gave her what she asked for. But continued politely anyways. Then we clearly stated how we'd like our pizza. She questioned us about 3 times because we noticed the price seemed to be a little higher than we calculated. Another young lady came up to assist, we informed her of the issues we were having. She clarified that the pricing was wrong on the menu. We opted for a smaller size. The original cashier told us toppings were $.50 more than they were. After a little while our order was finally submitted. We noticed the cashier was sent to break after. The 2nd cashier kept apologizing, pretty much asking us to take into consideration the kind of day theyve had and that they're dealing with alot of drunk customers. I responded with the fact that regardless, we had not provoked her attitude and did not deserve the treatment no matter the reasons. Id definitely go back but will be calling...
