Although I have a few complaints or suggestions the food was very very tasty.
The Gambas Scampi: The sauce was the bomb, so yummy, I loved it, both shrimp and sauce were excellent very tasty! HOWEVER two points Gambas to me are large shrimp these were medium and Scampi sauce is a garlic butter/ oil sauce. However this sauce no matter the name was excellent.
The calamari: The light breading was flavorful but the rings were a bit tough n chewy ( the manager told me soon they would be getting a different supply that Also includes the tentacles). The sauce that accompanied the calamari was excellent!
The beef empanada again the inside and the sauce was excellent, but masa coating was fried too hard to bite into.
The Sea Bass plater was again excellent.
Note Happy hour like 3-6 some tapas and drinks at a lesser price. The Sangria was good and the service was good as well. Total bill before tip 105.00 dollars, 30 dollars was for...
Read moreThe food was really delicious and we had a great meal experience. The Chef really knows how to create multi-layered sauces that don't overpower the star of the dish, but enhance and surprise the palette with flavor and delicacy. Even the chef was watching and brought us out an extra baby fork for the muscles when he saw we were taking turns with it. My feeling about the restaurant is that it maybe needs a woman's touch. For example, if you order a bottle of wine, the server should fill your glass now and then, especially if they're not busy. Maybe decorate the bathroom a bit and drop the bathroom key for the evening crowd? Just my little thoughts. We will definitely go back and...
Read moreI've eaten at Bohemios about ten times now and have had a positive experience each time. As someone who has been to 50+ restaurants around St Pete, this place is a must try. Their tapas are delicious and the wine selection is great too.
Ronaldo is the owner and is so friendly, kind, and hospitable. His goal is to ensure you feel like a friend or even family while dining at Bohemios. Jeremiah, the head chef, puts so much love into his food and it really comes through. He even comes out from the kitchen to say hi, chat about food, and talk about new dishes he's working on.
I will be frequenting Tapas Tuesday after having gone for the first time last night. $29 for unlimited wine/sangria and we had about ten delicious tapas plates which the chef whipped up - including Chilean seabass, braised oxtail, mussels, charcuterie,...
