Subway — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

This subway is horrible. The layout is a disaster and the customer service is atrocious. I was in line, the lady in front of me asked for a lightly toasted sub...it came out burned around the edges because no one was paying attention, she expressed she asked for lightly toasted, the girl was so rude, she threw it out and made a new one (but she was angry) and when the customer tried to apologize and explain, the subway representative - ignored her and started taking new orders. I was ordering a salad, the girl was extremely rude. I get it...you're busy...it's lunch time...there's a rush. Please remember YOU CHOSE TO WORK IN THIS TYPE OF ATMOSPHERE. I went to pay and asked where the franchise owner's information was and the guy (also horrible) was like we don't give that out. I said in every other subway there is a plaque with the information, where is it? He's like we don't have one, this is the manager - Jenny - Jenny didn't ask what was wrong or anything, she actually moved down the line away from me. Not surprising. He finally said the guy's name was Ed. Wouldn't give me a number or anything. I asked for the store number, he said it's on the receipt. I wanted to post this complaint because there are subways everywhere and this one is horrible, drive 5 more minutes down 34th St S and go to the one in the Brew Burger Plaza. Or there is one on 54th Ave S, in the Boardwalk plaza. The employees in these 2 franchises are wonderful! Helpful and always smiling. I have never seen what I saw in this subway. I will make another comment on the website, as well as, let the franchise people know. I cannot imagine the franchise owner would find this acceptable. Although...he doesn't post his information...so...maybe it is acceptable. Go to the other subways,...

I don't often write reviews, and normally I love Subway -- however this Subway was an awful experience..

1. They lock the restroom at 7:00 in the evening and give you an ugly stare down when you ask to use the restroom. (Essentially they'll make you a sandwich, but they won't let you use their bathroom. This is treatment I'd expect from a gas station, not a Subway restaurant -- let alone the ugly stare.)

2. The lady must have been upset that I asked to use the restroom, b/c she threw my sandwich together like it was a pb&j for her worst enemy. The scowl & the carelessness were priceless. I wish I was making this up.

3. She charged me an extra dollar for cheese. I ordered a black forest ham sandwich on wheat with provolone. Did not ask for extra cheese, did not get extra cheese (I checked) -- however I did get to pay an extra dollar (for nothing extra). I would have said something at the store, but I looked at the receipt later, when I got home. I would not normally make an issue out of an extra dollar, but given the poor service, attitude, and unwillingness to operate a clean available restroom -- I'll say it.. Adding a dollar to the bill for no reason without telling your customer is theft -- pure and simple. So yeah -- besides not wanting to clean a restroom for you they steal from you at this Subway. Nice touch.

Needless to say -- I will never be eating at this Subway again. I write this review for the sake of ownership/management -- if I was them I'd want to know what's really going on...

I eat there at least twice a week I get something with bacon on it sometimes Rosary sometimes roast beef I pray about $10 a sandwich and since I'm on SSI I don't tip none because it it would show that I was in Michigan my income but sometimes I take a couple extra dollars out of my pocket and put it in the box so you don't want once you're on a society of person ever get off it but it's going to be a different situation with me because I turned my mental illness into school I got sent to State Hospital in Texas rusted Hospital Ronald Reagan close them all down but that's all right I didn't need it anyways I told them I'll challenge all six of y'all to a white code exam I beat them so they put me on a plane within 3 weeks and sent me back to Randolph I'm not crazy anymore Subway I never was y'all know me I have a good personality and I always pay by credit card and you know I don't know what got on another reason I don't tip is cuz I'm on SSI as soon as I get a car and a girlfriend which I think I'm going to get I will...
