Last night, my friends and I celebrated Galentine’s Day at The Study, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for an intimate gathering.

What sets The Study apart is its unique approach to wine tasting. Instead of committing to a full glass, you can sample wines by 3 different glass portions, allowing you to explore a wide variety of selections before deciding on a bottle—or even a case—to take home. It’s a fantastic way to discover new favorites, especially since many of the wines they offer aren’t available in local stores or even specialty beer and wine outlets. . Beyond the wine, they offer an excellent selection of appetizers and charcuterie boards, thoughtfully curated to complement the wines. The portions were generous, making it easy to share while enjoying the experience. . Our group spent the evening chatting, some sipping win, sharing candies and making friendship bracelets, completely relaxed in the cozy setting. We stayed until closing, and the staff remained incredibly welcoming the entire time. Their hospitality made the night even more special. . Our last vacation in St. Pete, we decided to sign up for a wine and tacos event at The Study. Our expectations were exceeded and we had a wonderful time. Jeff and Katie were excellent host and we enjoyed listening to Jeff’s story opening a refuge for people to enjoy spending time together drinking wine in a low-key environment. The wine dispensers were top-notch better than what we have experienced before. Our group we enjoyed sampling wines as we enjoyed conversing with others at the event. The tacos were a culinary experience as our chef explained how he created each taco recipe including stories of his memories and love of cooking in his home country. Jeff would then explain the wine that best paired best with each delicious taco selection. It was easy to see the knowledge and enthusiasm that both gentlemen had for their specialty. I love the study! The staff is courteous and welcoming, the environment is laid back and warm… and the food and beverage selection is just right. Never seen a pour your own establishment that has a wider selection and pays such close attention to creating a food and wine experience that’s unmatched in a mellow club style environment.

Love to see a DJ or more special events, but also love that Jeff, the owner, a former Marine who was on active duty in the Middle East, really goes out of his way to give everyone his time and attention, and keeping the vibe a small business that’s growing. Let’s just say he’s not “whoring” the place out just to make money.

You definitely want to come here at least once, bring a few friends or a special one, and connect on a whole new level.
