We got seated quickly. We had a waitress name Zoe. She was nice and catering our table every like 2 minutes which was fine at 1st. Then she finally got our order then comes out and says O you guys waiting for your meal still. And then we finally get our meal and then she comes back again in 2 minutes and says how's your meal. May I add we haven't even started eating it and then she comes back again in 2 minutes and said how's your meal again finally getting the bite and then finally when we got the bite she comes back again in 2 minutes and says would you like to get to go. We had actually told her we are good for the last 2 times she asked us that we are good for now and then the 3rd time she actually cames and says would you like to get to go box after the 2 minute she just came. So this was pretty annoying and discomforting to eat in the restaurant because we couldn't even have a decent meal with her coming into our table. And then after the 2 minutes when we finally get at least half way to our meal and says O no rush but would you like to pay and were like no not yet. And then she comes back again in 2 minutes and says would you like your tab but no rush and so we decided to pay for a tabs. After that she never showed up as soon as we paid for the tab and asked for any drink or even shows around our row again even though she passes she just by passed us and No CARING if we need refill but finally enjoying our 30 mins. I just hope you guys would teach how your waitress treat people inside the restaurant and trying to rush them to get them out of there but at the moment I was not pleased on how I was handled in the restaurant with my family. You need to just give us printed bill. even though things are updated we dont need to be bother over a bill while we are still eat. And for SAFETY touching your machine while she have it bring more Bacteria and germs when they're being passed, everybody else touching the pad....
Read moreIn the morning I was watching the local Fox News from Springfield Missouri and they interviewed the originator of Pappo's Pizza. I know that there was a franchise restaurant in front of the hotel in St Robert Missouri so I decided to have dinner there that night. A nice variety on the menu is accentuated with the numerous pizza choices size from an individual pie up to a large family size. All this is topped off with the not to be forgotten brown butter cookies. I ordered an image pie with a combinations of meat and some veggies, and of course six of the brown butter cookies. The pie was everything they said it was in the news report that morning. Had a delightful crust not too thick not too thin and a nice chew to it situated with the flavor the meat, vegetables, and sauce. I will admit I didn't really taste a lot of the cheese, but it was still a very good pizza. My cookies arrived when I was finished and they were just oozing with the butter that they're made with. Even though the cookies are kind of protected inside the box they managed to seep through to the through the bottom giving it that nice oily feeling. It's a good thing I looked at it before I set it down on the table in my hotel room. I was really full from the pizza so I didn't need any the cookies right away I had one later on in the evening and it was extremely tasty. I managed to nurse that supply of cookies for another 3 days. Now that's willpower. I'm glad that papo's is not nearby because I definitely would be pounding the calories I would with their pizza and the brown butter cookies. If you see one in your area don't hesitate to stop look them up on the web because they have numerous locations and surprisingly there's one in Huntsville Alabama. Since that is sort of a hunting ground of mine, I'm going to have to look...
Read moreA bit of a misfire. I really love the dough of their pizzas and calzones it's chew and light. Their salad specifically their goat cheese is fresh and flavorful without being overpowering with the goat cheese. The wings are well sauced and not over cooked with a nice meaty juicy texture. The pizza is the best part by far, the ingredients are fresh and the cheese is melty and a good compliment to their sauce. I say all that to explain that I will go there again but also there is was problems. I ordered to go, and our shrimp appetizer was overcooked and fishy leaving a greasy fishy aftertaste. The calzone was great but my advice is to be cognizant of what toppings you ask for so it doesn't have too many moist ingredients and become a mess. We got olive, mushroom, ricotta and it was soggy but without a protein that might have been our fault. The worst part of all the food was the eggplant parm. The disks of eggplant weren't fried well enough to stand up to the sauce nor did it seem cooked all the way through as the skin was chewy, crunchy, and hard to cut through let alone swallow. The cheese wasn't really there as it had congealed and it wasn't served with pasta. Overall I will go here again for the pizza and wings but the price is on the high end. Last minute notes are that the sauce here is pretty sweet so if you don't like sweet sauce maybe steer clear. I also want to note that I don't know about the sandwiches as the Philly steak sandwich wasn't available. I see them improving as they have just opened, and the food in the restaurant is probably much better. With my little interaction with the staff they were all smiles and very kind. especially with all the grand...
